It works - that’s the main thing
So, you can buy a Dewalt or Bostitch cleat nailer for 270 or you can a save a hondo and purchase the Valu-air. I layed 400 sq ft of wood flooring and the only failure was that I didn’t hit the head hard enough once. My error. It comes with a hammer and goggles, which was nice. Great value and it works.

Works great
For my small project it was overkill buying this tool but it made it fast and was interesting to use.

Does the job and does it well
I like this nailer and have had no problems with it. It has worked flawlessly. It is nice that it handles a variety of fasteners even though I am only using cleats for this job. The nailer is sturdy and well built. Here is the story behind why I bought this nailer...For my first attempt at installing hardwood flooring, I rented a name brand nailer from Home Depot. That rental nailer drove exactly 2 nails correctly and then failed to completely drive any more. I took it back and they refunded my rental fee. Because I only have an hour or two each evening to work on the project, I realized that the rental costs would soon reach the price of buying a nailer. Fortunately I found this nailer. It paid for itself after three evenings work. Plus I didn't have to drive back and forth to rent and return the other nailer. Bottom line, I have been very pleased with both the price and quality of this nailer.

Great for the price
Nailer works great the only issue I had was the screws for the 3/4" plate did not fit the 1/2" plate. I used a drill to make the countersinks bigger on the 1/2" plate in order for the screws to reach the threads. After getting the plate set I had no issue on a bedroom floor.

Real workhorse and does a fantastic job at a fraction of the cost.
This is a great floor nailer! I am using Bostich 2" Cleats and it does a fantastic job with 3/4" Solid Asian Walnut hardwood. This also came in a plastic box with hinges so it opens and folds nicely. Also included was a pretty detailed instruction manual, oiler with oil in it and a flooring mallet with the angled iron for hitting the wood. I have had ZERO issues with this nailer. I am running about 90psi and every nail is setting beautifully.

Good value and it works well.
I shoot one box of nails using this nailer without having any problems. This is the first time using a flooring nailer, so I can't compare it with others, but it worked flawlessly.

Worked admirably
I bought this to do my first flooring project. the rental places wanted $70 a day so I figured I would be better off to buy one that rent one. If I needed it for more than one day buying it would be cheaper and I would have it for the next project. It worked fine, I had a few misfires where the staples did not go in all the way, but I think that was the operator not hitting it hard enough with the mallet.
