I bought these, along with other supplements, after stopping generic Zoloft cold-turkey (do NOT do that, taper down very slowly...I did a deep dive into depression, anxiety). I love the taste of these, & take them several times a day. Always before going to bed. They do seem to keep my moods more even. Several reviews said the tablets are very hard, one even broke a tooth. The tabs in my bottle were definitely harder than those bought elsewhere -- like they're over-cooked, so to speak -- but not rock-hard. Still, I'll buy elsewhere in the future, as they're softer.

The claim on the bottle that these are “fast acting” is not just a marketing tactic, it has proven to be accurate in my experience. I have insomnia, as well as a form of PTSD from a traumatic event that occurred during the evening so 1. I find it hard to fall asleep and 2. Wake up every few hours when I do. I’ve tried everything to help me relax and fall asleep without relying on prescriptions or alcohol. Melatonin worked initially, but gave me the worst nightmares, plus a few other concerns. CBD oil took the edge off, but I woke up with headaches - and yes I tried different brands and high quality ones. Valerian root made no noticeable difference. Chamomile tea did nothing other than having a ritual that helped me wind down. Ashwaghanda is my next top choice. It definitely helped to relieve stress and calm my mind. However I found that GABA worked the best to do all the things ashwaghanda does, plus it physically relaxes my body within a matter of minutes. No weird dreams. No groggy feeling the next morning. I’m sure there are some factors at play like DNA, gene expression, etc. but I would definitely recommend based on my personal experience.

I take these every night and they help me fell back asleep when I wake up. The texture is like Tums, but I like Tums. I definitely will be taking these for a long time!

This Pharma Gaba along with the l-tryptophan have been an absolute life saver!! For years I've dealt with crazy restless legs, unbearable, causing me to not be able to sleep at night. And then after reading the "Mood Cure" book it talked about chewable GABA and l-tryptophan before bed. I another brand of chewable regular gaba and it didn't really work, but then tried this Pharma gaba. Game changer. Life saver. I l'evento been consistently falling asleep within 15-30 mins and sleep through the night, which hasn't happened for years!! I used to run on 1-4 hours of sleep during bad cycles and maybe 6 hours of sleep on a good night. Now I'm finally sleeping, and feeling like a human being with a functioning brain. I can focus again, recall things, this gaba has definitely brought anxiety levels down when I've needed it too. I mostly take it just at night but I have taken it during the day before during high stress times. Highly recommend, just... don't take too much. Take 1. If you take too much it can actually make anxiety levels worse. So, easy does it, take 1, give it a chance to work.

I had previously used the Now company’s chewable GABA product but that doesn’t seem to be available currently so I tried this product. It’s just as effective; I prefer to have a chewable version for the times that I wake up during the night. GABA reduces my restless legs issue and helps me sleep. Just be warned that you could fracture a tooth if you try to chomp down on these. They would make a great dog chew product. I have to to moisten them with saliva or even water for a minute or so before I can actually grind and chew them. So they are chewable but be careful.

Scared to take it, due to wet looking chemical spots on the tablets. I saw another review stating the same and mine looks identical to theirs. Now I’m scared to take it.

Bought these for my mom who has anxiety. She swears by them and says they really help calm her when she feels anxious. Great taste too.
