Lovely, helpful & inspiring
I love to draw & sketch. Im 38. I recently lost my mum & have been struggling to get any time to myself; I have a husband & toddler & now incredibly demanding 73 year old dad/dadchild. I have never been through such an upsetting time & I feel shattered mentally. I have an anxiety disorder. I’ll feel it’s important to spend a bit of time a day on my own focusing on something other than the chaos & upset around me but I lacked inspiration. I have had the draw every day book & that was lovely. It was eye catching & gave tips & prompts to draw.. this is equally as lovely, helpful in giving tips & topics, it’s fun & my drawings often make me giggle. I’m far from tony hart but I know basic stuff on how to sketch, or do I thought. How you set out drawing each picture in your mind can often change with a little mis sketch but can also lead you to a masterpiece. It’s good to look back on if only for a laugh. the book itself is a stunner, the quality is fab. . I’m not doing it in strict order but gives my mind a bit of quiet time where my concentration is on the page & not ticking over at 1000 miles per hour. I’d recommend to anyone...bereft or not 😊. It’s a fun book

Brilliant.
This is awesome, I love it. Each page is a guided exercise, you can either follow it as written and it builds up the exercises by theme, or you can just randomly pick a page depending on what you feel like doing that day (which is what I've done). It's an excellent way of forming a habit and ensuring you give yourself some space and time to relax. I've found it really enjoyable and it has inspired me to start other art projects.

Really great
I found most of the themes inspiring. Bought one for myself previously and bought another on amazon for my mum. The only set-back is some pages talk about career/what you do for a living and my mum doesn't work so I went through the book and personalised it with sticky-notes.

Lovely work book.
Really sweet work book to encourage some creativity when you can't think what you want to do. Nicely written and pleasingly presented.

Equipment
Look like an excellent project for me, but as a complete beginner it would have been nice to have some advice on what basic equipment to use. Paints. pencils, crayons etc.
