Brustro charcoal pencils... A game changer for Hyperrealism artists!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Brustro charcoal pencils... A game changer for Hyperrealism artists!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As an artist deeply invested in hyperrealism, I’ve experimented with countless brands over the years—but after using Brustro charcoal pencils consistently for over a month, I can confidently say they’ve exceeded my expectations. I'm mainly impressed by the premium quality of the wood of the pencil, the High quality of lids and the mate finish which gives me a vibe of professional artist every time I hold it!! From the very first stroke, the richness and depth of the charcoal stood out. The pencils are smooth, responsive, and deliver an intense matte black that’s perfect for building deep contrast and intricate shading. Whether it’s the soft for blending, the medium for layering, or the hard for those crisp hairline details—each grade performs with precision and balance. What impressed me the most is how effortlessly these pencils elevate texture work—skin pores, hair strands, fabric folds—everything comes to life with stunning clarity. They don’t crumble excessively, and the control they offer is ideal for artists who work on fine details for hours. And even the white charcoal pencil works as a magic too which gives extra edition and magical effects in the details like watery eyes shines of hair. The different pigment of each pencils like soft, medium, and hard gives a 3D effect to my portrait which is just more than we could ever expect!! Brustro has truly nailed the balance between quality and affordability. After a full month of heavy use, the pencils have held up brilliantly without rapid consumption or splintering during sharpening. They’ve become an essential part of my toolkit, especially for portrait realism. If you're aiming for mind-blowing hyperrealistic results, Brustro Charcoal Pencils are absolutely worth investing in. They don't just meet professional standards—they inspire you to push your limits as an artist.

Very affordable price and superb quality.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had a great experience using the Brustro Charcoal Pencil Set. The pencils glide smoothly and give a rich, deep finish that's perfect for shading and detail work. I especially loved the range — soft, medium, hard — each has a unique feel, and the white charcoal adds beautiful highlights on toned paper. The grip is comfortable, there’s almost no breakage, and blending is super smooth. I used these for a mini realistic artwork and the result was stunning! I just loved it! Definitely a must-have for any artist who loves working with charcoal. And honestly, at this price point, there’s no better option — Charcoal means Brustro for me now!

Rich pigment, smooth shading but white lead is fragile
As a graphite portrait artist I always wanted to try charcoal medium and got my hands on these. This set includes: 3 black charcoal pencils (soft, medium, hard) 1 white charcoal pencil for highlights. Here’s what I liked about this: 1.The black pencils glide effortlessly. perfect for shading, blending, and layering. Smooth laydown and rich black tones, especially for shading skin and hair 2.The tones range beautifully from light sketch lines to rich, deep shadows. Easy to blend and layer, even in detailed areas 3.The white pencil gives great contrast on toned paper and highly pigmented. just a tip: it's delicate, so I recommend sharpening it gently with a blade. Giving this 4 stars because the white lead tends to break easily, even when using a blade. That was the only issue I faced. I used just these four pencils to complete a full portrait, and I liked how it turned out. The depth and contrast really come through in charcoal.
