Ordered the Statute of Ma'at! Received! Love it! Very Beautiful!

I was scared to buy this... but I saw the brand and a similar product in a bookstore and I couldn't transport it back with me. The detail on this piece is exquisite. It is comparable or better than the tchotchkes you get at a museum store but at a fraction of the price. I bought the Thoth one, too. She's a perfect size. The instructions that come with it warn you in no uncertain terms to pick it up by the base and not the fragile wings or head. Please follow these instructions.

Love this statue! I have been looking for sometime for a Maat figure and none seemed quite right until I stumbled across this beauty. My friends thinks she is stunning also. Only thing is that the incorrect description card was in the box. It was Isis. Which was fine for me as I have studied her for sometime. Just maybe not so great for someone else.

Following the advice given and the five-star reviews, I was expecting a very nice piece indeed. I was NOT disappointed.The statue is meticulous in its detail. It is colored, most likely with a baked enamel, in the color of turquoise and rhyolite. Her dress is tinged red and her face is at once peaceful and strong.She has a wingspan of nearly a foot and appears to be cast from bronze, not resin.As another reviewer said, if you are looking for a very nice statue of Ma'at, make it this one.

Beautiful execution, great presence. Not brightly colored, unusual. Arrived timely, packaged carefully, delivery was all good. Sculpture itself has a place of pride in my home. Ma'at is lesser known, so I was delighted to find something so beautifully done in Her honor.

When the description says "Egyptian Md. Winged Maat Sculpture," it does not mean it was manufactured in Egypt. Still wondering what "Md" means because the piece is made in China. Otherwise, a really beautiful piece. Very solid. Nice detail. Very different material and energy than the stuff that comes from Egypt.
