Worked great very strong magnet. Stuck it to the back of custom made body side moldings for my VW GTI. Now if I'm stuck in a parking lot next to any other cars (or even the potential!), I stick the body side moldings on the sides of my car to protect it from door dings. Store them in the tube the side moldings came in. Viola, instant protection!

This stuff really works. I used it to replace a magnetic door strip that lost its magnetism after 10 years. This stuff was so strong that I had to put four layers of tape over it to cut down on the strength. It it ever starts to get weaker, I can just remove a layer of tape. This is good stuff.

I used this tape to hold name tags for our church and I found that the double sided tape holds beautifully and the magnet is perfect for holding the name tags. I also attached a piece to my band saw to hold the wrenches I routinely use for adjusting my band saw.

Despite the description, the magnetic power is not strong at all. It won't hold half of my wrenches, and none of my screwdrivers. The glue back seems pretry good though. So if you want to hold paper clips or magnets, this might work for you.

The adhesive part will stick pretty good but as for the magnetic side it won't hold more than a couple of ounces.

Leaves black marks in my door!
