Yes, since you buy it through Amazon UK it is delivered with local applicable power connector. Yes you need adapter if you want to use it with 220V. That is no problem, works fine with adapter.

There is a circle on the bean compartment door where you can pour the pre-ground coffee for use. You need to cycle the bean amount to the coffee scoop on the front display and with the provided scoop pour your pre-ground coffee in. I

Q: Does the machine deliver coffee in a fixed quantity i.e. for an expresso cup only, or can you adjust for a larger cup?

When you set the machine up, you set the volume of coffee dispensed by letting the coffee run into your cup and stopping it where you want. You can also change the strength of the coffee. If you wanted a large cup of espresso, you may be better setting the volume to half of your cup size and pressing the espresso button twice do it dispenses 2 cups of espresso into your cup (you can do 2 cups in one go). The machine is more customisable than others, that was one of the main reasons I bought it and I haven't been disappointed.

Yes, in general you put beans in. It is also possible to put already grinded coffee.
