Surprise movie story is different great kills, a must if you want to see a good movie thats different.

I’ve seen a lot horror films, Revenge Horror is one of those sub genres that is hit or miss for me. I would compare this movie to other French Director classics, High Tension, and Hills Have Eyes remake. Being most likely the latter, the gore, sense or realism, is where this film shines. Like, seriously, there is some toe-clenching gore “oh damn!”, “holy S@$t!” moments. I would also say this is more Survival Horror than Revenge, as she is taken to extreme not just by her enemies but also the environment and circumstance.(Not a big Spoiler coming)That said, it did a surprisingly good job with scenes that are shown far too often in Revenge horror, and I felt they handled it well. One could argue that it was a necessary scene, I did think it in this case, it was part of the story, and handled well, considering how graphic the rest of the movie is. If this is too subtle, it gets a little rapey in one scene. It’s by no means, I Spit in Your Grave or Last House, but it’s enough, and may offend your girlfriend (or whoever) So be prepared. That all said, the movie is called Revenge, so you know she is taking revenge over something.Anywho, for buying this at random because it looked interesting, I was blown away with how good it was, cinematically, gore, and story, all stood out. A good pairing with Neon Demon, though a little more straightforward.

Movies fine, but I'm writing to inform future buyers of this bluray that a digital copy is no longer included with the physical edition. Unlike Amazon's product listening show.Futere buyers be aware of this if you wanted the digital copy too.

After buying this then I realised it was from the director of the movie ' Substance ' !

Reviewing the product, not the movie.As of February 2025, the bluray listing image indicates that it comes with a disc "+ Digital Code", and there is no digital code included. I contacted Universal directly, and they said that the product doesn't come with one, and they wouldn't offer me a code to make up for it.I would understand if it were expired, but this listing indicates you'll get one, and the company has confirmed that's false. This cuts the value of the product in half, and the code was actually the only reason I purchased this one, so that feels like a dishonest image to run.
