I bought this because I needed the magnesium supplement and I’m a restless sleeper. I’m not a big fan of hot cocoa but I have given it a try. I love it more and more. If you have sleep issues and magnesium issues this is the way to go. I get up less during the night and a have a more restful sleep. Try it snd you’ll love it. If I don’t drink before bed I’m restless all night. I use hot milk to mix. I make it like old fashion hot chocolate on the stove with milk

I have a lot of sleep issues. A LOT. I have tried so many things: pillows, sheets, meditation, weighted blankets, etc. I saw this and gave it a try after my son told me to take magnesium. It took a few weeks, but I noticed I was sleeping longer and deeper. I mix it with whole milk. I liked that it does not contain melatonin or mushrooms. Plus it is pretty tasty.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have a very adventurous palate. The stinkiest of cheese? Give it to me! Radishes? Yes please! Picked eggs? Sure! You get the picture...I can only imagine that the taste of this would appeal to a vulture whose diet otherwise consists of dead stuff on the side of a highway. I opened the bag and was greeted by the smell of rotten fish, and, I hate to say it, dog poop. I have never tasted either of those things (thank goodness) so I can't tell you it tasted like rotten fish and dog poop... but it did taste like it smells. Honestly, it should be illegal. I tried to choke it down in case the aftertaste was better and, hey, adaptogens! But, I couldn't get past 2 sips. Don't bother. I wish I still had my $35, vs. this bag of putrid brown dust that is now wiling away in my cabinet for when I need to *really* prank someone.

I think it'll work well for a few hours on an empty stomach, but it's not a game changer and you might want to consider 12 mg of melatonin anyway to really seal the deal. I think I'll keep using it and update later. I don't know if this'll help a teenager with ADHD.As for the smell, I really don't know what the others were talking about. It didn't smell awful, and I have a pretty good sense of smell. I really recommend mixing this with warm milk for best taste. It will still taste like sugar-free hot cocoa with artificial sweetener, but it's not bad! However, I can understand this being a subjective thing when it comes to taste.

Let me start by saying — I do not understand the bad reviews on this product.Taste : amazing. For something that isn’t actually ‘hot coco’ this flavor is amazing. I have done it with both water and milk and prefer either or. There is no aftertasteSmell : smells like chocolate — I think the lady who said something about ‘fish smell’ got a tampered pack? Or bad one. They have a deal that if you don’t like it, you send it back and get all your money back.Texture : no grit, mixes well with the frothierSleepiness : I feel like I am a feather floating down to my bed to sleep. AND for the first time since idk when, I am not groggy the next day. I DONT have the after-lunch slump. I’m ready for the day! I’m only on the first week but I see meContinuing for a while!

I had my first cup of Moonbrew Hot Cocoa last night, one hour before bed. I did not see any significant improvementin my sleep, but then again, the claim it will happen over time. I used one scoop of Moonbrew cocoa powder and added6 ounces of hot milk. The taste was a little weird, but not bad. They recommend adding a bit of creamer if you'd like.I will see what happens over the next few weeks. Too early to give a 5 star review.

I’ve had trouble sleeping for YEARS!!! The only way I could sleep was if I took Benadryl and it was starting to take its toll on my body. So I saw this hot cocoa and decided to give it a try. I kid you not, I’m out less than an hour after drinking. I add some milk once I’ve mixed it well with hot water and it’s tastes amazing! Highly recommend for those who have trouble sleeping

I’ve tried it all, you name it, I’ve used it. Nothing was helping me stay asleep, and the other products that did, gave me horrible side effects. This powder/ drink is a godsend! I really enjoy the taste, and it helps me sleep through the entire night, with no groggy feeling in the morning. I do have to take 2 scoops, as opposed to their recommended 1 scoop, so it will definitely become a little pricey, but sleeping through the night is worth it to me. 1000% recommendation this product
