PHILIPS Big Bass in Ear Headphones with Mic - White (SHE3555WT/27)

I love these headphones these are my second pair!!

I bought these earphones thinking of having noise cancellation, but I did not have it. The earphones were good to use for some time, but one side got damaged. I don't know how. So I had to buy another one. It should not have gone bad so soon, but I guess it's my luck!

I have bought several pairs of these, (because people keep borrowing them when theirs break or their bluetooth earbuds lose charge). I have carried the same pair of these in my back pocket for more that a year. They just never break and they always work. A real gem.

Good value for money

This headphones used to be my favorite, but the last few pairs develop shorts in them rather quickly. Not sure if it is due to the 90 degree plug on them now or what. Brand new out of the package I had a couple of static-like shorts, but thankfully that hasn't happened again. Hopefully these will hold up better. Microphone works well and noise is not completely cancelled out but greatly reduced.

So I went on a mission recently to purchase a bunch of wired earbuds just to review and this pair was tied for the least expensive of the bunch. My verdict is that if you need a quick set of reasonably priced buds, then these are miles ahead of anything you'll find at a convenience store rack or at the dollar tree.Construction:Construction is average for this range. The cables are pretty thin but I think they're perfectly capable of surviving a couple inevitable snags on corners or whatever. The buds themselves are tiny and light but definitely plastic-y. Whatever, though, as long as they work and are wearable, right?Features:This set has a remote and mic! Sure, the remote has a single button that plays/stops your music but hey that's something. The mic works. That's about all I can say. My friend could hear me but he could also hear everything else in the background so it won't isolate your voice. Includes some extra tip sizes.Comfort:I can't even feel these as I write this. I have large ear canals so I had to use the largest included tips but that gives me a nice seal and I just kinda forget about them. So yeah, I'd say they're comfortable in-ears.Sound Quality:These sound fine with a tight seal. They don't like to be played super loud. Anything passed 70% on my laptop and they're admittedly unpleasant. I do like the sound profile though. They have just enough bass to provide a full sound. They are NOT "big bass" like the description suggests, but the bass they have is pleasant enough. Mids are pretty good and don't suffer from sounding too boxy. Voices come through clearly. The highs are what I'm most impressed with as they are very smooth. Overall I think most people will find these completely inoffensive as long as you don't blast them super loud.You can do a lot worse than these. Have you experienced the 7-11 buds? These are luxury by comparison. Yeah I'll recommend them.
