Works great on spray painted vinyl
We used this on our freshly painted vinyl boat sets. First we painted the seats and waited for 24 hours then applied this as a finish coat. It worked well as a top coat which should seal the fresh painting job and help it last longer. We just painted the boat seats a few months ago but then put our boat away so we won't know until next year how well the painted seats will last. We used them a couple of weeks after we painted them and they looked great and didn't chip or crack. So far so great!!

Looks like a great product, but the color chart is a little off
Used the color chart that I had to buy through amazon to choose a creamy ivory white to match my boat's vinyl fabric. We chose Carver White which the chart shows as an almost perfect match to my upholstery, but the paint is actually a pretty stark white. It sticks out like a sore thumb, but boat season is upon us, so I guess we'll just live with it for now. Other than the color problem, it looks pretty good.

Made my seats look like new
I used this to dye the seats in my ‘98 Sea Ray boat. The seats were prepped using the SEM vinyl scrub soap and vinyl prep (both available from Amazon). I prepped the seat cushions and, once they were completely dry, I applied the coating as directed. The dye adhered great and looks amazing. I HIGHLY recommend doing the application when it is hot, sunny and dry (little to no humidity) outside. Use lint free cloth to clean with the vinyl prep and do not touch with bare hands (oil from skin could cause not to adhere). I sprayed multiple coats and the coverage was great. I used about 12 cans to do all of my seat cushions and they came out great. The dye also restores the pliability and soft feel of the vinyl. Once completed, I allowed the cushions to sit in the sun each day for about a week. Do not store the items you dye with coated surfaced leaning against or touching anything as the dye may adhere and pull off before it is fully cured. It took time and patience, but my seats look great and are holding up great under use. Just remember, your end results may vary if you don’t invest the time and money into properly preparing the substrate.

This worked better than I thought it would. My 20+year old cushions look almost new.

Sem carver white vinyl boat seats
The media could not be loaded. So far it looks and came out great! I’ll update as time goes on. I just had some light fading in the seats or deep mold that would not come out with any marine or commercial cleaner that I wanted to clean up. I’m sure it’s not a long term solution but from what I’ve read and seen people are getting 2-4 seasons out of a few coats!

Works Perfect
The SEM Carver White is a bright non gloss white paint that is a perfect match to white furniture. The paint came out crystal clear and it's light enough to feather it into existing white colors so you won't see a difference in color. The paint dries quickly, and comes out as a fine mist with no splatter. It does not wipe off once it dries. Total time to fix one of our night stands was maybe 2 min to tape off, 5 min to spray a few light coats, and about 10 min to dry. There are no dislikes about this product.

Well worth the money spent!
I bought a used boat and while the cushions were in great shape the color had faded terribly. The cushions originally were orange and white. The orange had faded to either a dingy yellow or a muddy brown. Just horrible to look at. I came across this product as an alternative to recovering the cushions. As I could not locate a close proximity to orange I decided to just go with all white. While it did take numerous coats to cover, it was an amazing transformation and pretty darn easy to use. Could I have done a better job? Yup. Learning curve here as far as not overspraying in areas and getting drips. But over all I could not be happier. Well worth the money spent compared to the huge cost of recovering the cushions!
