Our youngest has always woken up ridiculously early (4-5am in the summer). He's 12 now and still wakes up like every day is a school day. He has mild special needs and also takes meds for ADHD so an adult has to get up with him. We've been so tired for 12 years and really needed that to change. He tends to sleep longer if his room is nearly pitch black. We've had various layers on his window at the same time (mini blind, Roman shade, sheer curtains, and room-darkening curtains), and that made little to no difference. Despite 4 layers, his room was still too bright too early. After years of quiet-crying on the couch at 4am on a Saturday, we bought these. We had recently purchased a set for a downstairs guest room that we wanted absolute privacy for (nosey neighbors with zero boundaries in a row of townhouses). They were perfect; if light can't get in then the creep next door can't see in. So we bought a pair for our early bird's room. We should have done this 12 years ago. When he doesn't have school, he consistently sleeps until at least 8am! His room is incredibly dark; some light shows above the window but that's because his father didn't put the curtain rod high enough. The other bonus is that these keep summer heat and winter cold air out when closed. They're very dark blue and have white stars scattered on them. The stars are not glow in the dark, but when the hall light hits them, they seem to be a bit reflective. Overall, they're thick, keep light and coldness out, true to the color shown, well-made. If they can prevent my child from noticing the dawn, they should work for everyone else. Highly recommend.

I ordered the longest curtains for my son's room and I am very pleased with the quality and the price. These are beautiful and the stars are very bright, the material is thick and heavy duty and they really block out the light. These are perfect for any room!

They’re so nice and really thick, great quality. The light blue it a perfect powder blue color. Super neutral and perfect for a nursery!

Despite the bright colour it blocks out the sun perfectly, I needed something that let in enough light so I didn't have a creepy dark room, but kept enough out so my apartment didn't become an oven.The little stars are such a cute touch. I love the soft pink colour and I'm considering getting the blue ones in the future. I hope by the time I need another set they add lavender!!! 10 cute little Silver stars out of ten!

Does what it is intended to, no odor, a beautiful color, just right and best of all my daughter loves the stars.

Rarely write reviews but we were so impressed with this item I just had to write about it! We’ve been searching for nice, kid-friendly curtains for my sons room without spending a fortune at PBK. Found these and they look great in his room. Super impressed by the Great quality material and softness. We have black out blinds underneath and with both (blinds and curtains) the room is pitch black and just what we wanted!
