THIS ACTUALLY WORKS
So I had a hysterectomy and one ovary removed in July 2016. I was not on any sort of hormone replacement therapy. The last year has been hell, mentally. I've been doing the depression thing for my whole life, but it has been made bearable with anti-depressants. But this last year since the hysterectomy/oopharectomy had really, really, really sucked. On Aug 14, 2017 I received this product. I was skeptical it would work (because that's how I roll). I also have a science/med background, so I research before I buy, and I consider all factors before concluding a product actually works.MOODWithin a few days of starting this product, my mood improved CONSIDERABLY. I mean a lot. I was not looking forward to spending the rest of my life being so miserable and was considering an early exit. I like to wait longer than a few weeks to say a product is responsible for some change, but I really wanted to share because I know there are so many others having a hard time with hormones. I'm pretty darn sure this product is responsible for how good I'm feeling, mentally. It started a couple days after I started using the product and it hasn't stopped. I've felt great every day since. I can't know for sure this product is this reason, but I can tell you (1) I've felt really depressed and cranky for the last 10 months, and (2) I haven't felt that way at all for about the last three weeks.SLEEPWhen I started using this product, I used it twice a day to get my levels up. After about one week, I had a sleepless night. What was weird was that I felt great the next day. I was really surprised, especially since I've been doing the Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) thing since 2003. I should have been really tired with a bigger headache than I normally have (I have chronic head and neck pain since I broke my neck in a parachute accident in 1986). I've been able to correlate getting too much of this with sleep interference, so right now I'm still tweaking the dosing. I'm taking one dose every other day, in the morning.HAIRThis is a good sign this product is working! I've been blessed with an abundance of hair. And it falls out and goes everywhere. If I'm your friend and come over to your house with any regularity, when your vacuum makes weird noises, turn it over and cut out all the hair wrapped around the roller. My (ex) husband was still finding my hair after six months in Iraq. My brother has an epic tale of (my) hair he pulled out of his shower. Before I wash it, I get a hairbrush full of hair from my head. When I condition it, gobs of hair come out. And the drain cover gets so clogged with hair that the water starts backing up. This has been the case for YEARS.So two days ago I brushed my hair in preparation of washing (by the way, this happens only about once a week since my hair is curly and dry). I looked at the brush to get all the hair out, but there were only a few strands. I brushed again. No joy. I was flummoxed. I took a shower and got very little hair loss when conditioning. And the drain cover never clogged enough to back up the water. It turns out low estrogen is related to increased hair loss. Like after you have a baby, your estrogen drops and gobs of hair fall out? That's why women have much thicker hair when they're pregnant -- the hair that would normally fall out doesn't. I remember going to the salon a few months after having my child and warning my hair dresser to not be alarmed at the amount of hair she would see come out of my head. Since I have much less hair loss, it seems I have raised my estrogen levels considerably.ENERGYIt's hard for me to tell if it makes a difference energy-wise because of the ME/CFS. I had the hysterectomy/oopharectomy at the end of July 2016 and started feeling really bad energy-wise in October until about March 2017. I spent much more time in bed for those five months. The fatigue was so much worse that I was not able to even do my grocery shopping for myself (I cannot work because of the health issues). The exacerbated fatigue could have been from very low iron levels or possibly anesthesia-related issues or hormone issues. I also have Hashimoto's Disease (thyroid issue). It is not unheard of for thyroid levels to fluctuate; I'm very fortunate in that I do not need to change my thyroid meds often. So it IS possible my exacerbated fatigue was thyroid-related. At any rate, my energy levels were almost at pre-surgery levels BEFORE I started this product. I'm not sure yet if this product has had any effect on energy level.THYROID/METABOLISMI haven't yet done a lot of research, but the little I have done states that increasing your estrogen can cause your thyroid levels to drop, so keep an eye on that. And your body gets rid of estrogen by pooing it out. If your metabolism and digestion is slowed down because of decreased thyroid levels, the estrogen can stay in your body for too long, which might further tamp down thyroid levels. So do all the good things for your digestion: enzymes, lots of water and fiber, and exercise.HEADACHESI know estrogen levels can cause headaches and migraines. I haven't noticed an effect and I don't know if I will. Like I stated above, I broke my neck in a parachute accident in 1986 and have had constant headaches and stiff muscles in my neck and shoulders since then. When I had periods, I would often get a migraine during my period. I did have a four day migraine recently (which is unusual); it may have been a result of tweaking the estrogen.MISCIf you're worried about increasing your risk of cancer, do some research on this type of estrogen (estriol). It does not seem to be related to cancer like the other two types of estrogen. This product also includes progesterone, which you really must take along with any estrogen to prevent "estrogen dominance." I've had no hot flashes ever, so I can't I can't speak to that. I should also say that I seemed to have an "estrogen dominance" situation going on before surgery last year. My uterine tissues were getting funky (pre-cancerous) and the one ovary that was removed had a lot of endometrial tissue and an endometrial cyst attached to it. BTW, I'm 50 years old.I DID NOT receive this product for free in exchange for a review! I will happily pay for this product for the rest of my life just for the effect it has on my mood. Of course, there really is no way to tell if this product is responsible for my improved mood, but I DO know it must have actual estriol in it because of the hair issue.I'll update my review if and when I see any more effects. Good luck and God bless to all you ladies out there.

This helps control my psoriasis on my face.
I bought the Life-Flo Progesta-Care Estriol to control the psoriasis on my face. After menopause, I ended up with psoriasis, and where does it appear, on the most visible part of my body. I bought Derma-e cream to control it, but it still flares up from time to time. I did some reading on the internet, and I discovered that hormones can cause it, especially after menopause. My doctor prescribed me Etrace cream (an estrogen cream) as well as progesterone pills to control my hot flashes and dryness (I don't think I need to elaborate where). I didn't want to put Estrace on my face because I was wary of maybe messing up my hormones. So I invested in the Life-flo cream that contained both Progesterone and Estrogen. I use it approximately 2 times a week on my face or when I get an outbreak of psoriasis. I use the Estrace cream 2-3 times a week. I want to be careful since the Life Flo specifies to only apply it 3 weeks out of a month. It appears that when I use the Life-Flo on my face, the psoriasis goes away faster. I can't say much for hot flashes. My own are finally decreasing after 2 years. I'm not sure if it's due to the progesterone supplements or I finally reached the age where they have dissipated (knock on wood). So if you do have skin problems due to a hormonal imbalance after menopause, I recommend trying Life-Flo Progesta-Care Estriol. If you decide to take it, you should always consult a gynecologist. Products, even natural, can lead to complications and cancer.

Two separate reviews here
I’ve been using this on and off for 6 months. No change in vaginal dryness, but a definitive improvement in the number of migraine headaches. The pump did not work in the latest bottle I received. There is no way to “unscrew” any part of the container. I sawed through it and am estimating the correct amount to apply. However, I will stop using when this is gone. I’m trying to get plastic out of my life, and will look for wild yam cream that isn’t packaged in plastic. Not likely. Might try some herbal remedies. Anything without plastic.

Worked for me!
It does what it claims. Some doctors will tell you that topical creams are weak and don’t do much. I am a woman of child-bearing age and have historically had problems with balancing my hormones which contributed to being infertile (for a very long time). I started using this cream in November and I just found out I’m pregnant—took 3 months of using post ovulation. I read a medical study that supplementing too much progesterone without estrogen also can cause an imbalance so I wanted to try this. So glad I did!I will say that the formula leaves a sticky residue until it’s washed off...but for me the pros heavily outweighed the cons. The dosage pump is great, and obviously, it’s a quality product.

Great for hot flashes
My first time using this for my hot flashes. I've used Progest for years and decided to give this a try as I now needed to use progesterone and estriol. One tube lasted me 10 weeks, vs 4 weeks for progest. In the beginning I would get flashes 4 to 8 times a night, even though I had been using HRT
