They should put anything with 1 inch bars

I can't speak to the description, but the grips I received have a nice, subtle bevel-edged end-cap, and they really look and feel nice on the bike. IF I didn't point them out - most people would not even notice they are not stock. They also come with a little tube of grip glue. Very nice quality.

Q: Are the end caps removable?

Not per se. You could easily cut them off, but they are bonded to the grips.
