Behlen Country ST214 Shallow Galvanized Steel Round End Stock Tank, Approximately 49 Gallons

I use these as planters in my garden. I drilled a few holes in the bottom and now they work great. I have 4 of them. I started with one and have bought an additional one every year. They are all holding up great.I will say that the tubs shipped out with no box. My kids called me at work and told me it was on the porch. Arrived home and Amazon had just slapped a sticker on the side and shipped it. It wasn't scratched or messed up, but my urban neighbors sure looked at this country girl pretty strangely when I was dragging it throough the house to my back yard. And that sticker was a *^$#%& to get off that tub. After a year, part of it is still stuck to the tub.

Nicely built. Solid. Great look and feel for the outdoor wash tub table I made. Couldn't be happier. My only potential complaint was they didn't ship it in ANYTHING at all. They just slapped some stickers on the tub and sent it via UPS. It's pretty solid item, but still ... maybe a bag or something to offer SOME kind of protection might've been called for.

Purchased this to use a a raised planter. Was worried it would not be large enough, but it is perfect! I set it up this past weekend and filled with potting soil. I plan to plant three large growing tomato plants and one pepper in it. It was easy enough to drill the drainage holes. It is a very solid tank, but I was able to carry it well enough to the area I am setting my veggie garden. If I had purchased a larger size I would have had to drag it out. Im so pleased with it that I ordered a second one today.

I would give these five stars except that the quality is VERY inconsistent. Some have unsealed seams. I have purchased several, and all of them vary in size from the others--some by several inches in length or width! Some of the stickers are IMPOSSIBLE to remove. And sometimes they arrive with dents from shipping.But I love them as raised gardens/large planters--I have more than a dozen Behlen stock tanks in three sizes in my tiny backyard. I drill holes; line the bottom with window screen; add a few inches of gravel; then add a garden soil mix. The yield is several times what it would be in my clay KCMO soil, and they are easy to keep free of weeds and critters. I've planted veggies, berries, herbs, and flowers.

I used the tank for a raised garden bed and I really think this Behlen tank is well made and should last for many years to come. I drilled holes in the bottom and I painted mine on the outside with house paint. Looks beautiful! This is made with a fairly heavy-gauge material so it did not seem flimsy in the slightest. The stickers came off better than expected. I used a product called "Goof Off" that worked easily to quickly remove any remaining adhesive residue. I think these would be wonderful as a true stock tank or whatever. Highly recommend. Mine shipped with no box, but was in great shape on arrival.

I was very disappointed when I ordered two of these to use for planting/garden containers. While the quality was good, I received two different sizes - one which fit inside the other, but claimed to be of same size!

Leaks bad! First one I got was damaged with dents. Amazon replaced it. This one leaks like a sock. Purtee junk. It should not leak bottom line. I'm surprised at this because the reviews were pretty good on it but I am very diassappointed in it.

Received this round tub in great condition. I set mine up as a fish pond. I put a couple bags of small pebbles on the bottom, set up my fountain color lighting pump, bought a couple pond plants that I found on Amazon. Then ordered my pond goldfish from Amazon. All alive and in great condition. I have received many compliments. It all looks so good next to my patio deck.
