Love, just what I was looking for to train for Spartans. Holds up well to weight, clips are a great bonus and hold up well also. No cord fray or any sign of wear and tear.

It is a jacketed paracord with 7 nylon strand, 1 cotton strand, 1 fire wick strand, and 1 braid fishing line. Each of those strand is 3 yarn twisted except for braided fishing line. True to size, I order 100ft and received 101feet. It does not have metal strand, not a deal breaker. I wish it was 500 lbs breaking strength but again, not a deal breaker. Quality of paracord is very good for the money. Fire strand have is wax embedded therefore it should be waterproof-ish and easy to fluff. I use to be an inspector for parachute manufacturing. This is not mil spec or PIA spec(parachute), military spec is over rated especially on consumer products. While I did not perform a tensile test, ph, and elongation on this paracord. Base off what I see so far, it is quality survival paracord at a reasonable price. BTW stay away from kevlar anything, there shelf like and uv resistance is terrible unless you get a really exspensive kevlar. Keep in mind, check the entire length of your cord, all companies will only do batch sample size inspection. If you want real mil spec with certs, go buy from a PIA certified cord but for sure you will NOT have these various strand and it will cost you a whole lot. Most paracord should last you 20 years in the shade with no rain. Miles may vary depending on storage condition. Over all, it is a great product, everything they claim is true. Best value paracord.

The price is right! That's the first thing. It's a good value, plus they aren't just including a fire cord, but you get the added benefit of the fishing line (doubt I will use, but it's nice to have) and some tinder cord. I bought some to lace my boots. That way, I ALWAYS have it in case of emergency. I can see using the fishing line portion for an alarm system or snares more than fishing. I hope I never find myself in a situation where I have to use it, but if I do, I am all set! It definitely makes hiking and camping a little more fun to know I have this security. The fire cord works too! It's nice to know that it lights easily so if I do need it, it will work! I would estimate a 6 inch piece burns well over one minute! Check out the video. I bought 4 hanks of this stuff. I have some in my jeep too! You never know when it might come in handy! UPDATE: FEB 2020. It took a few weeks to measure and cut, but when I did, I found it was more like 95 feet than 100. I downgraded the stars slightly because of this. It’s still great cordage, just short!

It's been great for weaving bracelets and lanyards. Used it hunting for assorted application. Wicks works great but sometime makes it hard to melt the ends.of a bracelets or lanyards because it wants to burn LOL.. I've made a couple orders in different colors so far

never know when something like this could come in handy. I teated the fure strand and had no issues getting it to catch. I love always having the ability to start a fire anywhere i go. I used a couple cuts to make some boot laces. the rest lives happily in my pack. good stuff.
