3 stars since the return process was easy, but unfortunately I have had to go over a month of not being able to unplug my laptop without shutting down. My battery (which was purchased new w/ laptop on 2015) would not recharge so purchased this replacement battery which included PA5109U-1BRS as one of the p/n that it replaces. The 1st one arrive and was 0% and would not charge so I returned for a replacement. The 2nd one arrived and had power (not 100%) but my laptop would not charge it and it went to 0. I was not convinced that it was not my laptop instead of the battery so ordered my exact battery used off eBay for less than half the cost of this new replacement battery. It arrived, was at 74%, charged quickly, and I am now able to unplug my laptop and used. This battery MAY work for other's laptops but for my Toshiba, which had the original battery p/n PA5109U-1BRS it would not work, so requested to return the 2nd battery as well.

Wasn't sure if this would work with our older Toshiba computer since last time we did this it blew up our older one. This time everything was great. Did have to let charge of course before it showed any type of battery life. Price was reasonable and so far no problems. It appears to hold a charge for a reasonable amount of time. Only gave four stars for battery life and durability since we haven't had it that long yet. Very happy with this purchase.

It fit into the computer with the greatest of ease and the computer is running as it should be. It has been in there for just a short period of time but so far so good. Void of a defective product, which would be beyond the seller's control, the product is as advertised..

Using the battery on a Toshiba C55-A5038. Normally I keep my laptop plugged in, but to test the battery I did four discharges to 5% and the battery lasted 3+ hours unplugged Specs matched old battery and no issues with installing. Final test will be how long this one lasts. Original made it about 3 years.

I'm not sure what happened, But I shut down the laptop, unplugged the power opened the battery, replaced it, and plugged it in, let it charge, or what I thought was charge only to find, the computer was dead! and would not charge, even after putting the old battery in. Not sure what happened but all my info is in that computer, had to go out and buy another laptop, and start all over again, Please respond

So far my new battery is working better than my original one. It is holding a better charge for a longer time. I have not tested the total time yet only because I made it a habit to stay plugged in.

I'm used to Toshiba batteries lasting three hours new. This one hung in for eight!

This replacement battery far exceeded my expectations. It arrived quickly, was easy to install, and gives more battery time than the original battery that came with my Toshiba Satellite C55-A. Highly recommend.
