I decided to try egg white protein powder since whey-based protein powders gave me a sensation called globus- a weird tightness in the throat that some people get from eating certain foods like dairy, from which whey protein is derived during yogurt making. I also couldn't tolerate the grittiness of other protein powders like pea protein.I'm very happy with the egg white protein powder- no grittiness, mixes very easily, no flavor that I can discern when I blend it with some almond milk, a banana, and peanut butter. Very highly recommended. I wish it was a little less expensive, but it seems consistent with other egg white protein prices and options.

Taste great!

Unfortunately my intestines can’t tolerate cow whey protein and I can’t stand the taste and/or texture of all vegan proteins. This is a very good alternative. It mixes well, has no nasty aftertaste and is not gritty. I use it to make a morning or dessert smoothie. I use Cashew milk, Monk Fruit and a few slices of banana. It does have a little of a cooked egg smell while taking it out of the bag but that goes away immediately upon blending. It’s a bit pricy, but the 27 grams of protein per scoop makes it worth it. I recommend it.

To my surprise it is actually very good. Taste is rich and satisfying I highly recommend it.

I am not sure why yet this 5 pd bag smelled foul, more like fish than bad egg or sulfur. I've ordered this product in 1 pd bags from True Nutrition in the past and really like it yet never had a smell like this. Unfortunately TN can't do anything yet did offer a discount towards more and Amazon does not return food items. Lesson learned not to buy this from Amazon as even though it had not expired, something was wrong and I have to imagine high heat exposure during distribution somewhere.

I ordered this for a couple of recipes and so far it's worked. The only problem I did run into was it didn't whip up but I didn't really need it to for the recipe I ended up using it for.

This is a great protein and I like it better as a post work out shake than whey. The taste is neutral and easy to drink. I feel it’s less bloating than whey. Only problem is the sodium content which prevalent in all egg protein product across brands. Have to keep this down to 1 shake per day.
