This is technically a 2-part case, with a hard outer shell snapping over the more flexible inside cover that the phone actually goes into. However, it could very easily be considered one unit and the case installs easily without separating the two parts. The inside cover is not flexible TPU or soft silicone like most cases of this type, even though the description lists the "inner" case as flexible TPU, it is quite firm. Fortunately, this is exactly what I was looking for. It slips easily in and out of pocket and does not become hung up like the soft rubber tends to do. It also makes the phone more comfortable and easy to hold, with textured sides and back eliminating the problem of the super slick glass sides and back that this phone has. If you're looking for a more traditional hard case, this one is ideal, and the price simply can't be beat. The only negative that I could think of would be that it's probably impossible to use a pop socket, if you're into that, but it does have a functional kickstand built in.

It does not work with G6 - it doesn't let you use fingerprint and other ports like headphones etc

I have used a similar product for my previous phone for well over 2 years with no wear and after getting this for my new phone it has snapped in only 2 weeks. Since I am used to these stands I have full confidence in my treatment of my phone. I have not dropped it, thrown it, or even pressed against it when the stand was out.On the 12th day I noticed one of the stands arms snapped but was still functional. A few days later as it rested on my desk the other arm snapped.These cases are my favorite and I would love write a good review, but if the quality on my next one is the same I am going to have to keep this review as is.

I usually put a small metal plate in between the phone and the case, so that I can stick the phone to a magnetic mount in my car. This case is so thick, from the inside to the back, that the metal plate is kind of far from the magnet, so it doesn't grip very well. It falls of the mount on about 50% of my car trips. And the back of the case itself is way too full of bumps and ridges, so I can't glue the metal plate there. Fail.

After using the case for about 3 months the plastic on the kickstand broke off. The kickstand itself seems to be made of very flimsy plastic. I would not purchase this product again, as it has failed within such a short amount of time.

I just put mine on fits great, the inner part is between silacone and hard plastic with grippy sides, the outer part fills like tire tread but soft to touch and Kik stand love it so far, buttons fit fine too, it does not sit flat on it's back because of the kickstand being on the back but it is not a deal breaker for me I want protection and this feels good

The pink that arrived did not appear as vibrant as whats in the image, and the stand sits above the rest of the tread pattern and makes it wobble on flat surfaces. Its not bugging me too much, but it would have been better for the stand and tread to be the same depth

Exactly what I needed in a phone case, no more, no less. I don't watch movies on my phone so I have no need for the stand, I didn't buy the case for the stand. It's simple to put on, does exactly what it should, I would buy this case again. Perfect. Inexpensive, but not cheap.
