Excellent feature packed pump
Currently very happy with my Vectra M1. I run it about 70% on my 50g cube tank and I'd say that provides pretty decent flow. My plumbing can handle higher flow but the pump does become audible when I run it 100%. I picked this pump over cheaper DC pumps for 2 features that Ecotech has brought with this unit. Firstly is the battery backup ability. I purchased the Ecotech battery backup for $150 and am able to keep this pump running during a power outage. Secondly, this pump allows you calibrate it for feed mode allowing you to pick the minimum flow rate during feeding time and then maximum during 100% flow. This is great and can really save your butt on a setup that cannot handle the flow at 100%. Through calibration, you can lower what 100% means on the controller preventing you from starting a flood by accident. You can also prevent the flow being too slow during feed mode and causing a siphon break or other undesirable consequences.

Very quiet.
Very well built ad quiet. The controls can be a lil confusing.

Good pump hard to set up
Pump works very well and is very quiet but gave it 4 stars because it is a royal pain to program the speeds

It's a great $300+ pump
It's a great $300+ pump. It works with ecotech live and the battery backup, which is cool. In the end tho, I could have got pretty much the same thing from a much cheaper pump.
