More substantial and balanced than I anticipated at this economy price
I currently possess a plethora of throwing implements, running the gamut from SOG mini-axes to home made throwing knives of dubious design and function. I have the requisite throwers from Cold Steel, from the Flights to the "chopper" style behemoths. Additionally, I also have the other differently shaped SCZO throwers. My comments will pertain to the SCZO 3 knife set that is more angular and linear than their other offering. My opinions do not reflect my ability, which is marginal at best! The basic box actually belies the surprising quality of these sharps. I threw them last night and found them to be equally adept at instinctive (no spin) and rotational throwing. I focus on instinctive throwing from overhand and sidearm positions, occasionally venturing into brief forays involving a Fedin-style delivery. These knives appear to have the durability and utilitarian design approach to handle all of these techniques. The only aspect I would change would be to narrow the point somewhat to positively affect the possibility of sticking into harder wood varieties. Of course, this might then have a negative impact on durability. Your choice....So, would I buy these again? Yes. Do they surpass my expectations? Most definitely. By the way, a quick search will show that I rarely review anything. Perhaps that also adds credence to my opinion. Additionally, I paid full price for these knives and do not work for, receive anything from, or even know anyone from SCZO. I just throw knives and look forward to throwing these again.

Nice weight and length
I'm really enjoying these knives and just ordered 3 more. They're a very satisfying weight and when I manage to throw one so it sticks, it makes a nice chonk into the target. I'm a total beginner, but these knives make it pretty easy to get a hit. I'll add that I made my target with 4 layers of cardboard screwed onto pine boards hung from a tree. When they fall, they fall onto the soft ground. Not sure how they'd do falling on concrete.

Not bad for the price
Most of the grinds seemed ok. One blade was a little off. If I were planning on throwing knives in a competition I would not use these, but they are good for a cheap starter option. Very big and heavy. They seem to be good for the no spin technique.

Most durable knives I own! Recommended buy!!
Wonderful throwing knives for beginners and perfect for learning no spin throwing. Knives are comfortable in the hand and the way that they are shaped really help to guide the knife as you throw. The subtle curve in the idle of the knife were the balance point is a bit awkward when you begin because the point causes a little flick in your wrist when you throw but that's easily fixed with practice with them. They knives are just as sturdy as the name brands out there. In fact I got some Gill Hibben knivesad returned them because the tip broke off of one of them. I had those for a month and have had these for over 5 with no problems AT ALL! can't stress how great these knives are. The only critique I have is the tips of the knives are really pointy amd shaped like an arrow head which is great for durability but you have a harder time getting the knoves to stick in harder wood which means you have to throw harder. Not a big complaint but setting worth addressing. If these were to ever break on me I would definitely order them again, with no complaints. Great starter knives for a novice who's still learning and growing as a thrower. The sheath has held up well as well. Just put something in the bottom of each slide to keep the point of your knoves from stabbing you in the leg as you walk.

Sharp and durable
I have used these knives for awhile now, so I have had enough time to reflect on them. They came in sharp and took about a month to get dull enough that I had to sharpen them again (I use them daily). I like the weight of the knives, they’re on the heavier side. The weight and balance gives them more power. The balancing point is right above where the blade meets the handle. Keep these polished and they will not disappoint you! I have not had any trouble with the blade tips whatsoever, unlike other knives I’ve read about. Truly a great purchase.

Good Knives BUT...
These are good knives but there is an issue with them if you are throwing them. These are okay if you just want to mess around and not really learn anything, but I have been throwing knives for about 1-2 years and these just aren't the best fit. They are heavy and sturdy which are very good qualities in a knife but the handle guard is very annoying. It is very hard to throw no spin with these as you cannot for your finger over the guard without pushing it out of alignment during your throw.2nd issue is that the blades are pretty sharp out of the box.Now this could be thought of as a good thing but it really isn't.The only thing this is good for is if you want to use it like a normal knife, which this knife still wouldn't be good for because the blade is very thick. The reason a sharp blade is bad is because some throws (Usually the beginner and easiest) require you to throw from the blade, and when holding the blade you can cut your hand (Which I did btw).So I would suggest if you get them grind off the guard, and preferably grinding down the blade sharpness so as not to cut your finger.ALSO having the point sharp is the main thing you want on your throwing knife, so you can sharpen the point (although it is very sharp from the factory).I hoped that helped!

EASY THROWING
The media could not be loaded. I really love these knives. Super fun the throw, they are easy to throw full spin or half spin no spin. Going to get me other set.

Easy and accurate
Weighted blade, easy for no spin throwing, sheath sturdy and 1-2-3 draw from and replacement back into sheath is easy. Open carry, pocket carry or reverse for hidden carry all works well with the sheaths wide belt loop.

Absolutely amazing throwing knife and a great price!
I was completely blown away at these knives. $20 Canadian for 3 pc set, nicely weighted and they are perfectly balanced, fly straight and stick very well. I have about 3 dozen throwers and I keep going to these over everything else since I got them. I just ordered a second set and I will probably get a third as these seems to fit multiple throwing styles and just feel perfect in the hand. If you are starting out and want a good deal on a great knife, get a few sets of these and you will be glad you did.
