I’ve been using this as an alternative from box dye for months, I use it probably when my roots start to get pretty bad or when i’m having black hair blindness lol (i’m a natural dirty blonde). I probably use it twice a month and make sure it sits in my hair (only roots) for a while before rinsing so it stays longer since I like to shower/wash my hair everyday. After all that box dye my hair kind of hated me so this was what I switched too and it’s been a game changer. My hair is so much happier. I already use a really moisturizing conditioner, but I did notice when I didn’t use my usual my hair felt a little drier so keep that in mind. I love this product i’ve ordered over 4 bottles. The color sticks to your hair and i’m a natural blonde, adds some shine and doesn’t give an undertone color of blue or whatever else it’s just black which I love. Listen, you better grab like a 1000 of them. I have tried hair dyes and nothing compares to this. It got the work done in 15 minutes. Now my hair is too black. I think next time I will do less time. It made my hair soft and you dont need a lot to work with. I used it on my husband's beard too and it worked for him as well.

This product is pretty much the same as a box dye . The only real difference for me and why I won't go back to box dye is because I find that this product does not damage my hair. I've been using this for almost a year now. I refused to pay to dye my hair at the salon and box dyes dry out your hair extensively. My hair is health again and I get rid of Grey's at a cheap price . Also hubby uses it for his beard! Works great .

Things I’d like:It works really well in the time indicated. It comes with ear covers, which you really going to need and the price is affordable.Things to be aware of:Instructions are simple but not complete, it doesn’t indicate if the hair should be clean or dirty. I did a test strip of hair with dirty hair and It did not take well. So I looked up some videos to see how other people were using the product and on clean dry hair best results. The product can be a bit messy be aware that it will stain your skin, If you do not remove it quickly. When you’re going to rinse the product off wear glove or your nails will be stain. My towel got stained as well, this could be because maybe I did not take all the product off correctly or it just stains clothing. I guess we’ll find out the next time I do this. Once I rinse off the product, my hair was stiff and rough. I needed conditioner, which is not a problem. However, the box just say rinse and do not wet for 48 hours so I was worried to put anything on my hair. I could not leave my hair feeling that way so I use a mask deep conditioner. I left it in for a couple minutes and we removed, did not put it on my scalp. I styled my hair as usual and the hair looks shiny and It feels nice. My scalp was a little bit itchy through the night, but I am a very sensitive person to products so this could just be me.I gave it a four star because I thought I wouldn’t have to deal with the staining of the skin.

Tens across the board. I used it today and I'm so impressed with the results. My hair was an ombre of browns. The front of my hair was honey blonde. This product was able to color my entire head black. I will continue to use my Joico K-PAK color therapy shampoo and conditioner.

This works extremely well! And we’re pleased however the only issue we have is the pump, this is the second bottle we purchase where the pump works perfectly the first time, but trying to use it again the pump becomes stiff and difficult to pump.
