Fun and pretty polish!
I was impressed with this polish! I decided to buy a pack of clear fake nails and some of this polish to create my own nails. It was pretty easy to get the hang of. I used a base coat, two coats of polish, then a top coat. The polish added a good thick layer of color, had good coverage, and seems have good durability. I think this polish is a great value for the money! I sometimes bite at my nails, so I did notice some peeling after a few days but that’s my own fault and not the products fault.

Great product!
First time doing cat eye and it was so much fun! It comes with a magnet, which I did not realize so it was a pleasant surprise. I think the color is just like the pictures, would recommend.

Beautiful Colors!
I recently purchased the Aurora Borealis Colorful Galaxy set, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! Each color is absolutely stunning. Before diving in, I took the time to watch a few tutorial videos, which really made a difference. My first attempt started with a Beetles navy blue gel, topped off with Gaoy #2397, using a specific technique I picked up. The result was breathtaking and lasted over three weeks without any chipping or lifting! For my next design, I opted for a Beetles black gel with Gaoy #2395. While the color itself is nice, I found that it appeared more muted against the black base. In various lighting, it looks blue, and only in natural light does it reveal a hint of purple, depending on the angle.I must admit, using the magnetic tool can be a challenge. I spent quite a bit of time trying to perfect it. To enhance my results, I invested in a 25lb magnetic stick, which was recommended, but it didn’t deliver quite as much as I had hoped. The key is to apply enough product to the nail for the desired effect, but finding that balance without it spilling or affecting the apex has been tricky.Despite these challenges, I am eager to keep experimenting with the colors. Next time, I plan to use a lighter base color, as the black seems to overshadow the other shades, or perhaps these polishes are just a bit on the subtle side. I’ve still achieved decent results, and I highly recommend this set to anyone considering it. Use a lighter base color to really make the colors pop, and practice with the magnet. With a little patience and experimentation, you can create truly beautiful nails!

Colors are all GREY
The colors are nothing like pictured. They are all some shade of grout. I just hope I can somehow get this stuff off before anyone sees it.Update: I changed my one star review to a three star after getting a different set of colors. This time, I got bright colors expecting them to be more muted, which they are. However, I like them. They are more neutral but not grout colored thankfully 😂. The finish is very shiny and pretty and the magnet works.

I love the colors!
In general, I really liked Gaoy brand products. Bright, thick, long lasting color and shine! That being said, when I decided to try my hand at Cat's Eye I checked if they had it first. It came well packaged. 6 colors. Since this was my first time with Cat's Eye gel, I looked up some tutorials on YouTube first. I tried painting it on without black as a base coat like it says in the directions for this product and it did not look pretty or seem to have any ability to shine so I started over and did all black base coat on these as the tutorials I watched suggested. They came out brilliant in color! Interestingly and as I try to show in the pictures, they seem to change color? Purple looks blue at times. The two shades of pink will look golden. The two greens are interesting as the brighter teal will look teal(index), but also very blue and at times purple! 😂The other green color (thumb)doesn't look green at all it actually comes out a pretty blue and will also look black. However I have caught it looking purple too! 😅 I'm a little confused but mostly pleasantly surprised about the color change effect.Drying time. This is important to know! 60 seconds did not fully cure for me. It took 2+ mins and I had to turn my fingers under the lamp being sure that the sides really got the light directly. Otherwise it would still be tacky and turn dull. I had to drill down to rubber base gel and start over with my first nail. I would like to add that this may be because I did a thicker coat to make sure there was plenty of magnetic ability.Helpful tips to those saying it peels when applying to natural nail. Make sure that you prep your nails properly and use a good UV lamp.Nails should be shaped, cuticles removed/pushed back, buffed, nail dehydrator applied, and a thin layer of clear base coat applied for ANY gel polish applications.
