As an MD this is a very important review. I read the reviews prior to purchasing this product and researching every single element of the tablet. I took the prescribed amount of tabs every morning for 3 days when I suddenly developed severe abdominal pain which radiated to my rib cage and lower back and became extremely constipated. I had no other change in my dietary product. I quickly discontinue taking it and started on Miralax daily in an attempt to resolve the constipation. There was also a burning up into my chest which required my physician to see me. We deduced that the only additional item was the one I am describing. After 3 days the pain gradually diminished zero in the bowel movements became normal. Just a recommendation is to take note of the side effects of the combination of all these herbal products. Unfortunately it is one of those items that I cannot return and get a refund.
