Nice book with some signs we don't think exist
My husband is deaf so we like having some signing books around for our signing kids. I don't know where some of these signs came from though, some of them I have never seen signed the way they are illustrated in this book and we are all fluent in ASL and have been around people with many dialects. Maybe there is a baby sign language that isn't ASL we are unaware of or some of the illustrations are just bad. It makes it kind of hard to read.

If you want a super head start for your child before one year old!!
Teaching baby sign language. She’s already learned several words and can communicate even though she can’t speak yet. She’s only 9 months but have a 9 word vocabulary like eat, milk, kisses, book, more, all gone, no-no, night-night (those are one word to her). And outside. This has been very helpful. Although daycare doesn’t keep up with her skills. They’re behind in her education so I go once a week to teach her.

great book
This book is awesome! My two year old is hearing impaired and I ordered most of the books in this series. I am impressed with the the way the author and illustrators have put this book together. It is the easiest book I have found to teach not only myself and my daughter sign, but also for my other school aged children to learn as well. I highly reccommend this book for anyone who wishes to learn sign.

Great for learning sign language
I started teaching my now 17 month old sign language at 1 year and these books help a ton. She picks them out on her own and enjoys them. She's up to about 15 words now and I definitely owe these books for helping to teach me and her.

These are great!! I bought them thinking there would only be one or two signs per page but there are tons, at least 4 per page. The back has a kind of index with hand shapes to help aid in learning the sign. The pictures are cute with lots of diversity, which I love!!

lovely
Absolutely amazing. Good quality of the books too, will last long time even when kids are bot careful. I really love the simple explanations. We did not try with baby yet, but I think it will be super helpfull for the whole family as grandparents dont speak the same language...so we probably use a lot.

Sturdy well illustrated board book, great for sharing with little ones
Wonderful book. We love signing with our little one. He rarely gets frustrated because he can sign quite a few words now. He likes looking at the book and we copy the signs together. He definitely has his favourites and keeps pointing to them. Great way to communicate with babies and toddlers while they develop their language skills.

Nice little book
Book was a bit more worn-out than I expected but that's fine.Delivery was super fast. In fact, got here sooner than expected. So overall I am pleased.

Toddler Signing
I believe it is important to teach toddlers how to sign when they are still trying to learn to talk. This helps to ward off frustrations in communication for them as well as for their carers! All of this set of Sign About books is well done.
