I love all the songs although Ti Amo is a favourite. The rest are such lovely songs sung with passion. Recommend you give it a listen

I really like the singles for Gloria and Self Control, but the rest of the songs on the album are good but don't particularly stand out. It feels like a dance album and iconic-ally 1980's, though I do think Laura's voice is great and distinctly different from other female artists to make it worth buying this album.

Laura Brannigan's greatest hits album is just brilliant.

Brilliant. Her death meant a terrible loss to the world of good singers. A wonderful voice, she was never given the material that she was capable of handling. Two memorable songs was not enough. She could have done so much more with the right songs. I'm playing "The Power of Love " at my little cousins' wedding, to start the dancing. She's never heard it. Should bring the house down. Anyone not dancing will be crying. Great words and a beautiful voice. Sadly missed.

Only knowing Gloria and Self Control I thought I'd give this a try. Love every track apart from Power of Love and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow (the Jennifer Rush and Carol King originals just can't be beat) and in particular Ti Amo - beautiful! A must buy for this track alone. Wasn't aware Laura had passed away some years ago - what a sad loss to music!

This album features all the great tracks from Laura Brannigan - Gloria, Self Control, Shattered Glass - but sadly not the 12" remix. Also includes the power ballard Never In a Million Years which was later made into an hi-nrg dance tarck by Vicki Shepherd on Loading Bay records. Buy it even if only for hearing this.

Love this collection. Not a bad song here. A powerful beautiful voice. Besides a talented singer she also had a gift of finding good songs in other languages and having them translated into English and making them her own. Gloria, I Found Someone(later done by Cher), Power Of Love(later done by Jennifer Rush, Celine Dion & other). Etc.Interviews with her showed her to be a humble shy down to earth woman.She was on the scene for 10 years. Made her mark. Then this classy lady showed the world what was truly important to her when her husband, the love of her life became terminally ill and she didn’t hesitate to walked away from her career in order look after him until his death.Then she suffered a tragic accident and was unable to walk but she didn’t give up and powered on until she was able to walk again.Then one night not long after as was set to record her comeback album. In her sleep she tragically had a brain aneurysm and passed away.The world lost a legend. But she lives on in her timeless music.
