My little beta has been through many little plastic tanks. I decided I wanted to upgrade and purchase one with a filtration system to help keep the water cleaner between water cycles. The filtration system will be perfect for helping keep the tank clean. I did purchase the filters extra on the side and they were fairly inexpensive. My little beta is loving his new home. This tank is beautiful! Much better appearance and quality than the plastic tanks I have used before. This is actual glass. I was also amazed at how clear and bright the water/look of the tank was when I came into my office today. This is the perfect size for my office desk. The filter is quiet and doesn’t distract my work.

What a great little kit! NICREW has put together a nearly perfect nano aquarium kit at this price point. Packaging is very high quality. Happy to see the back glass already painted black and the cute little filter is completely silent, adequate for this tank size. The included LED light is very bright (but does get hot to the touch). I think it will help grow a number of different plants without issue. This is perfect for a shrimp-only tank or potentially keeping a single smaller sized Betta. Only thing that would make this kit 100% complete would be including a small basic heater, but even as-is it's a solid deal for a rimless with all that's included. If NICREW starts making larger sized aquarium kits such as this one in 10-40 gallon sizes...I will instantly buy multiple!

This kit is amazing for the price. The tank is great quality and crystal clear. It has the absorption and balancing pad adhered to the bottom which is convenient. Super cool little filter too. I don't use carbon with my tanks so instead I filled as much biomedia in there that I could along with the cartridge filter. Very quiet and no issues with it although I do wonder if it's cycling enough water. I mounted it on the short end so I don't know if it's leaving dead pockets on the other side. This is just a planted tank currently so no biggie if so. The light is my only complaint. It runs super hot and is pretty weak overall. I don't think it's capable of providing the lighting plants need. There's so many quality lights for super cheap on Amazon so it's null. All in all this can't be beat for the price however. For any of you considering this as your startup or a gift for someone this holiday season (that's deserving of a $60 setup), do it.

Unpacking this product from the box was so satisfying! There was no flaws at all. It's heavy duty compared to other 2.5 gallon tanks. Easy and obviously simple set up. The filter is very smooth and quiet. My tank cycling at the moment, can't wait to add guppies and shrimp

This aquarium is the perfect set up for beginners! This product arrived in great packaging so my tank would arrive in one piece. I got the package with rocks included and it made set up much easier. The only other thing you would need to purchase would be a tank heater depending on what you put in here. The look of this tank is amazing and very aesthetically pleasing. It’s honestly a bit bigger than I thought it would be in size too. There’s plenty of space for decorations (even SpongeBob if your bf is like mine 😂) the filter has an adjustable flow which is nice for my betta. The sound of the filter alap isn’t too loud which is nice. Overall I think this is a really great kit for the price and I would definitely buy it again!

Beautiful little tank especiallyfor the price. It's sleek and crystal clear and just beautiful. I got the package that included gravel and some stone. I wasnt too impressed with the stone it came with. I could've found prettier ones in my backyard 🙃 Besides that, the light is just the right amount of bright. The filtration system has a valve that can manage the flow. The lowest setting is perfect for my beta fish, it doesnt push him around at all. Its also very quiet, and the refil filters are affordable. So far my beta seems really happy so I'm happy... and impressed.

Excellent betta nano aquarium easy set up and the lid has two notches cut out for airline to set up an air stone and to place a heater on the other notch. Plenty of room for decorations and for the betta to swim in fits perfectly on my night stand. Excellent quality easy set up. Good beginner aquarium for someone looking to get into the hobby.

This aquarium is absolutely beautiful. The glass is perfectly clear, the filter is silent and works wonderfully. The LED light is bright and lights up the tank perfectly. We are using this tank for our betta fish. It is extremely happy as it has lots of room to swim around. I would definitely recommend this for anyone with a betta fish or a couple small fish. It is very well made and we are super happy with it.

This is such a great little aquarium except of course there is very little that can be housed in it. I will be using mine as a nursery for baby/juvenile Rice Fish (Medaka). Otherwise a couple of shrimp or snails is all it will hold. The packaging was perfect, product arrived in good condition. Set up was super easy. I used a finer gravel than it came with, but did use the stones and part of the rougher gravel it came with. You can adjust the flow of water, and I can barely hear the aquarium running. I love the slightly transparent black back as it hides wires, and also makes foreground pop. Has a padded base which is great. Lid is basic, but adequate. Light seems fine, it only has one setting. Note: It does not come with a heater, but I think that’s typical for nano tanks. I really hope due to the success of this tank, they roll out a 5 gallon and a 10 gallon so we can actually house even just a few nano fish or a Betta. (This is too small for a Betta. It would have no swimming space.)

Perfect size 2.5 gallon tank for my crowntail male betta fish. Lots of space for him to move around. Love the filter which is super quiet. Bright LED light. Marble is a happier betta fish now. The manual guide is great. I highly recommend it.

I bought this small aquarium for a betta fish. Overall, the build quality, glass clarity, and design are very good, and it arrived well packaged. The light and included equipment are also decent for the price. The only issue is with the tank lid. There is a feeding hole on the lid, which comes with a small round cover, but unfortunately the cover is smaller than the hole and doesn’t fully seal it. Because of this, the opening is not completely closed, which could be a concern for a betta tank. Overall, it’s a good aquarium, but fixing this small design flaw would make it much better.

Such a great tank. I got the basic, I had my own gravel & decorative plants/ barrel. Set up was so easy. The filtration system is so quiet. I can’t hear it at all even on the highest dial setting. The clear glass is stunning and the black glass back makes the aquarium pop. Highly recommend this tank.
