GrowGrip Plant Holder (25, 2")

This is the best idea since sliced bread. I was looking for net pots and some sort of inexpensive solution to hold the plants in place in my hydroponics and I came across this product while searching. I only orderd 25 to test and I am SOOOO impressed. Clean and easy to use. I took two plastic totes that I use for lettuce and drilled some 1 7/8" holes in the lid. These fit perfectly. They hold the lettuce plants firmly. No mess, no washing media, just pop in and use. I will be ordering more of these for sure.

works well when plants are not too big. they will compress and be out of shape if the plant gets too big.

Granted, I am relatively new to hydroponics...I am not finding these as user friendly as grow sponges. Maybe I will figure them out eventually. It seems like more trouble than its worth to start seedlings in another medium and then transplant them to this in my hydroponics set up. Also, they let light through unless you can use a "collar" of some sort.

Exactly what was needed to gently suspend seedlings. Have used these and they are long lasting

Great little reusable things.I mix them with a little media and the plants are nice and secure and help save money, time and headache!!Complaint only comes that it's a little bigger than 2" which meant i had to kind of bend in a little weird way and stretch out the cups to get it to fit proper. Just a small complaint.

Outstanding product idea. Took me about an 1-1/2 hours to insert 500 tiny lettuce plants that were intended to be in 2" holes in foam float. I didn't have the foam prepared so I just floated the growgrip with the plant right on the nutrient water. I may leave them that way for a while until the plants get bigger.
