Great toy
My granddaughter absolutely loved this fairy. It was her favorite Christmas present. In fact, we all loved playing with her. She crashes often, but keeps on going. She's a sturdy little thing!

Fun!
Got this on sale and feel it was worth the price. Takes a little practice to get the hang of. The only way to get it to stop is to let it fall to the ground or try to catch it by the feet - which, if not caught perfectly, can be a little painful for sensitive little hands. The battery life is good and it charges quickly. Have only used inside so far, but can see how it might get away from you outside. Have had it for about a month and has held up well despite multiple “crashes”

Hatchimal Pixie Flyers are essentially drones
Purchased the Hatchimal Pixie Flyers (both pink and purple) for my child thinking this was a toy. It turns out that these things are slightly short of being an effective surveillance weapon for the military. My teenage son discovered that if you turn on the pixie and place it in the launch pad but hold down the pixie for 30 seconds with your index finger, you can launch the pixie between 20 to 30 feet vertically. When he figured this out and launched the pixie, I ended up chasing the "toy" down the block and had to recover the pixie from a neighbor's yard. That ended the fun in our yard. Instead, we took the pixies to the local soccer field and played with them their to witness their full potential. We recorded vertical heights of 20 to 30 feet and horizontal flights of anywhere from 100 to 300 yards depending on wind pattern and potential lift. The pixies worked most effectively in light or no breeze conditions. Not only did my youngest child play with these but so did my 13 and 22 year old, as well as myself (48 year old father). Very durable design. Pixies took many strikes but were easily repaired and on their way again. Most common repair is the replacement of the plastic skirting which snaps into place easily due to the well thought out design. Full charge is achieved in one hour. Charging cables are included.

Doll
My children loved but the doll when flying is very difficult to take an her use is hard. Is softness, and the stability is trouble.

Good quality. Hold up well to children playing. Fly very high when fully charged.
They fly well & high. In the video I shared they need to be charged, but otherwise they fly pretty high when fully charged. Good for multiple ages. I have ages 3 years to 9 years and they luv them. They only send a USB cord, so you will need to get the adapter that actually plugs into the wall in order to charge it.

Not worth the disappointment
Fun for the kids to play with. Unfortunately I’ve bought two now (Christmas 2024 and Christmas 2025), and both broke or stopped flying within a week. This year, the flying fairy lasted 3 days. The battery life is also a struggle. We had to charge for a good 24 hours each time, then the fairy only lasted for 20 minutes of play. Not worth the price for a disappointed kid.

Cute and fun but kind of dangerous.
My daughter loves this doll. It’s well made and charges quickly. The only down fall is she can only play with it outside because it’ll randomly get out of control and fly into everything quickly and hard. To the point that it’s kind of scary. It’s also difficult to get it to stop. You have to try to grab the legs while it’s spinning and that’s a fight all in itself because the sensor makes it fly even higher every time you try to grab it. The wings also hit you a lot when you try to grab it. My daughter is to afraid to grab it herself because of the wings hitting her. NOT safe to use around tvs or fragile items. One of the wings did break after suddenly running away and flying into the wall and kitchen appliances but it was fixable. I was excited to get this for my daughter because I remember having a similar one as a child and how much I loved it. She was happy to get one. I just feel bad she can’t play with it often because of how dangerous it is to fly in the house. Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend this doll unless you use it outside or have an empty room to fly it in. It’s very cute but it’s hard to control and when it runs into things it scary and destructive. It can easily damage a tv. Hope this helped.

I’m giving five star because I feel a lot of the reviews Here are very unfair. A lot of them come from Canadian or American kids who are usually very clumsy with their toys. My mom had bought this for me for Easter. Yes, I’m a grown adult but I was a 90s kid and she knew I love sky dancers so she bought this for me as a surprise. My son and I love to play with it. However, it is extremely fragile. The batteries do not last long maybe 10 minutes or so. However, it does only take five minutes to charge. Yes, the wings fall off If it hits too hard however, the wings do snap back on quite easily. However, I do have small children over for Easter. My second cousins mostly. Summer from Portugal and Italy. And ones from here in Canada. They have been playing with it with me and my son, and I noticed that my cousins born here in Canada are much more aggressive with it. But my family over from Europe their children are playing with it properly. Basically what I’m saying is it is a fragile toy. It’s not meant for kids to be slamming or throwing into walls or any of that stuff. If you play with it properly, it’s a wonderful toy! My son and some of my aunts and their kids and I have been playing with them for hours and having a great time!
