INTOXICATING
I live on a very low fixed income and for months I have been out of perfume because I am allergic to so many. My favorite OPIUM has been discontinued and only a few left in stock at just short of $100 for a small amount. I found this and decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. I have to say I was sceptical but it smelled amazing in the bottle. After spraying a little on my wrist and neck I was still wondering okay how long is this going to last before it fades and here I am six hours later and the fragrance still smells as if I just put it on. So happy I gave it a try, awesome product I recommend to anyone. Highly recommend

Offensive Smell. Nothing Like Description
Sorry but this scent is awful. The low price should’ve been the first clue. I cannot stand the smell of this! I describe the scent as an overpowering, chemical-like, cheap-smelling, stinky, thick, intolerable odor. I hate it. It should be priced at .50. It is still not worth fifty cents, but it least no buyer would have to waste an entire dollar on it. I will not be patronizing this brand - In Style - again. No wonder there’s a no-return policy on this item. It’s awful! Thanks to a customer service agent whose cooperation proves that Amazon values my heavy patronage of its site/app, my money was refunded; so no harm, no foul, I guess…BUT the Company that sells this fragrance should be forced to drop its false advertising and should be forced to drop the words “inspired by Opium” from its product’s ad description and packaging. Stinkeeeee Stinky stuff and the terrible SMELLY fragrance really lingerrrrrzzzz even after one tiny spray of it! Offensive scent!

Absolutely outstanding
I wore the original Opium for forty years, hoarding it in every form once they changed the formula.Everything I had is finally gone. I don’t want to buy half-empty bottles on eBay. I’m retired now so I don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on perfume and I can’t get the original formulation anyway. This knockoff is absolutely amazing. The scent is dead-on (give it a few minutes for the alcohol top note to fade) and it lasts. I’ve seen a lot of reviews claiming that these dupe scents don’t last on skin. You are not supposed to be able to smell your own perfume except with motion, like turning your head. If you’re smelling yourself you’re wearing too much. After three days I can already smell this faintly on my clothes and hair, including the bottom notes. What great stuff.

Pretty close to "original"
Smells pretty much like Opium. For the price, ya can't beat it. Last a while, and softens up.

Lovely scent.
The brand perfect scents has so many nice smells and this is one of my favorites to wear in any season. I loved it so much. When it is not available at the CVS's near me , I can purchase it here for easy access. One of their affordable and lovely perfumes for everyday wear! :)

Nice, but not a dupe
This is a nice perfume, but I don’t consider it a dupe for YSL Opium. It does have some of the notes, but they are a little overpowered by a floral scent. Opium did not have a floral sent to it. For the cost, the sent lasts longer than I expected it to.

Close to the original
I have it use this but a few times, but really like it. I have the original, but it cost so much, I just can’t afford it anymore. This is basically the same scent for a lot less . The original is over $100 a bottle and this is far more economical.

Have no idea why this is being sold by Amazon
I love Opium. After reading the reviews, I ordered some. With that price, who could refuse....right? I tried a little on my wrist when I got it. I couldn't run fast enough to the bathroom to get it off. I washed at least 4 separate times, and I could still smell it hours later. I compare it to the ladies who would come into church when I was little loaded with perfume; it was just overpowering. A Catholic Mass is long enough for a kid...that didn't help. This imitation perfume is cheap, but believe me, I have no idea how someone could like it. To be fair, I just tried the Opium. I've been wearing it for years, and won't stray from the original again. I tried to return it, but must've missed the no returns somwhere in the ad. I threw it away. Proceed with caution! Maybe I got a bad bottle, because alot of you ladies liked it.
