Does not work very well.
I tried multiple different ways to thin it out or thicken it. To get the things to sit just right. But ultimately at best it sputtered.

Good Paint Sprayer for Detail Work
I needed to paint some small metal bars on a gate. Because of the small corners, to get a clean look - I needed to spray the paint (vs brushing or rolling). I felt like this sprayer would do a good job for the detail work. The sprayer came with the main unit, a charge cable, two bottles with small metal mixing balls, tools to remove clogs, and extra syringe tips. When I looked over the item and how it worked, I was a little skeptical. There is no pump for the paint, the unit only blows air over the syringe tip. I am using oil based paint, so the paint was thinned at a 50/50 ratio. I filled up one of the bottles and tested it out. I was actually very surprised how well it worked. It did a great job of spraying the paint with zero runoff. I would compare it to a weak bottle of spray paint. The unit charges via USB C and has a power indicator light. The battery seems to last a long time, I went though half a bottle of paint and the battery still shows full. For my use (painting the metal poles on an RV gate), this item might be a little undersized. It does paint well and does great detail, but at a slow rate. For someone painting models or touching up a car, this item would be perfect. For painting big projects, I would get a bigger sprayer. You might also have better luck using water based paint. For it's purpose, it is a good little sprayer. The one thing I really didn't like was filling the paint bottles. They are small and have a very tiny opening. No funnel was included, so my makeshift filling process was a bit of a mess. You may want to consider a clean way to transfer paint (syringe, funnel, or other) before you get started.

Get blobs of paint while spraying
This did not work very well. The motor is pretty strong and puts out a decent, tightly focused spray, but it drips as you go, leaving little splatters of paint. Also, blobs of paint collected on the nozzle, adding to the dripping problem. I removed the paint bottle and cleaned the tip, then the sprayer just started running on its own and I couldn't stop it. I ended up plugging it back into the usb charger and that finally got it to stop as it can't operate and charge at the same time. I can't recommend this as a result.
