Amazing Product!
Game Changer.I have a tiny chihuahua doxy mix and her coat is so short but she sheds like a husky! This tool blew me away! I can’t tell you how much hair I’ve gotten off this tiny little dog! Buy it! No hesitation the best de-shedder I have ever used. When I touch her there’s no longer hair flying everywhere.Just be careful not to accidentally cut yourself like I did.

Amazing! Buy the brush!!!
This brush is a great design that makes brushing faster, more comfortable, and more effective!I have 3 big, furry dogs. One young golden retriever, one middle-age golden/collie/chow mix, one 14 year old lab/husky mix. They were all blowing their coats at once and the furminator was cutting it. This thing is just amazing! It removes a ton of fur much faster thanks to its large size, the dogs all like it better, it removes dander, and it was much more gentle for the geriatric dog with sore joints. We had nearly stopped brushing the oldest dog because it caused him pain, but this brush made him love being brushed again! Thanks for this product!!

It works great as a car cleaning tool too!!!
Our family has three dogs, two of which my wife insists must come with us for our walks at a local part despite my protests. They make our minivan a disaster each time with their shedding hair and dirt that falls off their coats in the car on the way home. Ugh!!!We already had another one my wife got from Wally World that we use to keep their coats somewhat upkept. I have found it works great to clean the hair out of the carpet in the house and rakes the fibers back upright. I thought I could get one dedicated for the cars and got this one. So maybe I use it for a purpose it isn’t intended for, but hot dang - it makes a massive pain in my keister a real treat and keeps the depreciating investment in our minivan a real snap to keep up. I really like that it can be split and allow it to cover a wider area. That comes in really handy in the back hatch area where the most hair gets piled up.I know that I don’t use it for its intended purpose, but it works so much better than anything else I have tried. I mean, it still is removing hair from a surface. It is just that the surface is different, so maybe it is a by-use of what it is intended for. If you have the same issue, this is what you need! It is a lot cheaper than dedicated hair removers for cars that don’t work nearly as well as this. I love mine and it has become a staple in my car care arsenal. I need it with the family I have!!!

Removes Undercoat Well
I had to replace a single blade shedding brush after 5 years and chose this double blade as a replacement. It is sturdy and does the job for our black lab. The only negative comment would be that it tends to open to the fully extended position when I’m brushing with it closed. It’s happened almost every time I use it, so I’ve had to wrap some duct tape around the handle to keep it closed.

It works!
My 12 pound Chihuahua sheds incredibly for a short-haired dog. I have tried brushing her, but she tolerates it only briefly, the small palm-sized brush is awkward, and it takes 5 minutes to get the hair out of the brush. So the brushing doesn't happen very often. This rake is much more effective. My dog actually lets me spend several minutes on her every morning, on the backyard patio table in the sun (we're in SoCal). She actually likes being stroked along her back, neck, and (lightly) chest, stretching out her long back like it's a massage. She even likes it when I brush against the grain.Naturally you have to be gentle with this sharp thing. But it pulls the excess hair right off. The hair bunches up, scatters across the table and floats away in the breeze. I wipe the table with my hand and fling the fuzz into our dirt-and-bushes yard. (If you're brushing your dog in a park or urban outside, you may want to collect the hair in a baggie so as to not make enemies.)Brushing the dog a few minutes every day should reduce the furballs in the house. Especially now that it's shedding season.Update: Brushing the dog daily also seems to be keeping away the fleas, which infiltrate during backyard reconnaisance. It's late May and I haven't had to use Frontline flea treatment yet. This rake seemed to be the smallest of the Amazon bunch which was why I picked it.Also, I keep it closed in a loop with a single handle.Recommended!

Finally found it!!
I tried so many brushes on my dog. She has a thick coat but it’s very slick and the brushes just slide off. But this tool works so wonderfully well. I was so surprised and delighted to see the results and the huge pile of hair! My dog must think it feels good because she sure likes being brushed now! Thank you to whomever invented this! It is FANTASTIC!!!

Easy breezy! Bye, bye furminator!
Meow! I am amazed by the Wahl shedding blade! In my ongoing battle with shedding cat hair I already own more hair rakes, brushes, deshedders than I want to admit. I have seen shedding blades before, worried the teeth would hurt my sweet old cat and did not want to risk it. Finally I saw a video of a lady using a similar blade and I could not believe how well it appeared to work. I figured it was worth a try at ten bucks and ordered the Wahl blade. The day it arrived I tested it by using my furminator on one side and the blade on the other. No comparison, the blade got more hair with greater ease than the furminator. I then compared an undercoat rake to the blade and again the blade won out. The blade has two sizes of teeth and my cat had no problem with either. My friend came over with his dog and of course I had to give it a go. This dog is huge and his hairs are the long, wiry type. He loved the blade and it did a great job getting at his stubborn neck hairs. We were amazed how much hair covered the yard when we were done. Having a one hundred pound dog visiting also gave me an opportunity to test out another feature I love about this tool. The handle slides apart allowing you to hold it in both hands and brush down the back. If you use this feature I have a tip, make sure the wind is to your back or else you will end up with hair coming right at you!
