I purchased 25lbs bags of this salt directly from the manufacturer. Main reason for switching from pink Himalayan salt was the higher mineral content. Unfortunately this salt looks like a wet dirty dog compared to the pink Himalayan salt. It came wet with lots of black things in it. I had to put it in the oven to dry it out and then I found some brownish spots in the salt. Organic matter, insect? Who knows. Well I have enough salt to last me a long time but I will not be purchasing Baja gold again. Let's hope the claims of higher mineral content are correct.
