I had a Blagdon Pond Oxygenator 2400 for a number of years, maybe 4? Over time, it did get a little louder, but it was still pumping out an impressive amount of air. I abused it a LOT; the lid had come off, I kicked it about accidentally a few times getting caught up in the lines and it still went strong after rolling down stone steps and dropped a couple of times on grass. Then I did a silly and left the pump, turned off, at a lower level than my pond doing maintanence while leaving the line and stones in the pond connected to the pump. Of course, water crept up through the lines and fried my pump when I turned it on without realising physics happened. For a couple of extra pounds, I bought the 3600. It's a little bigger than the 2400, but it's a lot quieter than I remember the 2400 being despite putting out more air. Note, while it is quietER, it is not silent. It's pretty much plug and play, although you will need a spare plug head to attach to the wires as it doesn't come with one. It came with two thick plastic manifolds, which seem durable. Although, paradoxically, one of the nibs had snapped off the manifold either in packing as a QC failure or in transit. A little hot glue fixed this, though, so it's a non-issue but I thought people should be aware. The 2400 I had came with a rubber 90degree angled adaptor to fit the plastic manifolds in, though this rubber adaptor tube kept slipping off under pressure of the pump. The kit does come with metal clips to hold the rubber tube in place, but I'd lost them and had to resort to using a zip tie after it kept popping off. With the 3600, this hasn't been an issue, even without securing it with the metal clips that come with it, it has stayed on so far (about 2 weeks? I think). My only issue is that the included plastic manifolds don't let you adjust the airflow; you'll need to buy a seperate manifold for that with valves built in, or buy in-line valves. All in all, a really good piece of kit that I highly recommend. EDIT: I rushed in to purchase as mine crapped out due to water, and a week later they've dropped the price by £20. A little annoyed at myself being overzealous but grab yourself a DEAL with it being £77.

Great pump producing a high capacity air flow. Just write for my 500 gallon pond. Very pleased I spent a little extra on a proper external model. Very pleased.

Powerful air pump, heavier than anticipated, but sits firmly at side of pond. Produces plenty of bubbles to pond .deducted a star as no plug, pipes or air stones

I purchased the Blagdon 1800 for my small pond, it came with a very long cable, but as appears to be the law in this country I had to fit my own mains electric connector. Primarily I use the Blagdon to aerate a 50 gallon fluidised bed with media. It is powerful and quiet in operation and I have made a protective shelter for it to stand in as outside by my pond, without protecting it did suck in dampness which was evident in the air lines. I uses all six of the oygenator air lines to aerated the fluidised bed and this it does with ease, and I am delighted with the results. Blagdon even supply spare parts, and seasonal service kits should you need them, so I anticipate having some years use. Overall a compact and powerful oxygenator/air pump.

Great quiet pump gives off loads of oxygen

Very good pump. My pond is 21 ft long and holds between 3,500-4,000 gallons. Air is easily delivered to both ends. Happy with this purchase.

Got the 1800 very powerful running a single air stone in a 1000 gallon sleeper pond wife says it looks a bit jacuzzi.
