Huge and Indestructible.
Taking another trip with this bag I bought in 2018 and thought I should review it. This thing is massive inside and apparently indestructible. Oven taken it on soooo many trips and actually ended up using it as our diaper bag for twins because it was the only backpack that could hold the pump and enough supplies for a day out. Love that it still meets carry on size requirements but no wasted space on wheels. It also still fits under the seat if you don’t stuff it. 100/10 would by again.

Best travel backpack hands down!
This is like the holy grail of travel backpacks! I travel a lot, and always take only a carry on if I can. I have tried now probably 5+ different travel backpacks and I am officially in love with this one! There is always some major issue to make me try another bag, but this one is comfortable to wear, has a large main compartment, fits more than you'd expect and opens up fully like a suitcase. I can't see myself going for another bag after this one. I was thinking about getting an Osprey far point 40L for a while, but didn't want to make the leap and spend that much, because I spent a ton not too long ago on a cotopaxi bag and didn't love it. So this was a similar alternative and I think its actually better than the osprey just from checking it out in stores and people's reviews on it! Reasons why: it still has the 40L main compartment that opens the same way, BUT the laptop pocket is located near your back rather than in the front of the bag (better for weight distribution and you don't have to worry about you laptop flapping over when you open the bag), and the mesh water bottle holder can actually hold a water bottle, and after taking this out on travel, I did not have to worry about it falling out of there, and finally I just like the look of this bag better. It looks very clean and professional, which is perfect when I have to travel for work and want to look like less of a backpacker. And for the price it is well worth it, bc trust me, I have spent a LOT on travel bags in my search for the perfect one. The only downside I can see, is if you absolutely must have a bag with a hip strap, bc it doesn't have one. I have had bags with and without the hip band, and while it does add to carrying comfort if you will be wearing it a long time, I felt like this bag was incredibly comfortable to wear on my back for quite a bit of time even with no hip strap. Oh! and as a bonus, its got a hidden pocket on the back, perfect for your passport and boarding pass and two tiny little pockets on the shoulder straps where you can hide some cash for if you need to pay for a taxi or something right out of the airport. It appears to be constructed very well, I can't speak as to long term durability, since I've only had it a few weeks, but it seems like its well built, not like a cheaply made bag from China. I would recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a travel backpack!

Comparison three travel backpacks bags Mogplof, Inatec and Kaka
Comparison three travel backpacks bags Mogplof, Inatec and KakaAfter careful research I tested three backpacks for airline travel. I was looking for a backpack that would hold my laptop, iPad and clothes for a trip where I didn't want to take a checked bag:Mogplof 19.5”x15”x7”(9.5”) 40L - $ 48Inatec 21.65”×13.4”×7.87” 40L - $ 56Kaka 20.5”x12”x6.7” 35L - $ 59Inatec is a smidge taller and less wide, might be better suited for taller people. Mogplof is wide and not so tall (and expandable), probably more suited for smaller people. Kaka has a more robust look and sidewise falls in between the two.Below you can find a detailed review of all three - if you are interested:Shoulder strapsInatec backpack has the longest shoulder straps. With that I mean that the padded part of the strap is longer than the other two backpacks. The advantage of that is that there will be no buckle directly between your arms and body which can become annoying when walking a while.Mogplof backpack has the shortest shoulder straps and again it might not be an issue but I prefer the longer straps.Kaka bag has a middle length between the two but also is the only bag with a waist belt. The waist belt will help with the distribution of the pack and therefore the length of the shoulder straps works with this pack.Sternum strapMogplof sternum strap is adjustable because it is on a slider.Inatec is adjustable by carefully taking it off the strap and move it upwards.Kaka sternum strap is only adjustable within one piece of webbing, you cannot take it off and it is not working for me (woman), it is way to low. I might have to take it off and replace it with another one, or not use one at all.Cushioning in the back and storing of the backpack strapsAll backpacks have lots of cushioning at the back and all backpacks store the straps one way or the other. Mogplof within a zipper pouch, Inatec within a Velcro pouch and Kaka with a cover that you zip around all the straps. The Mogplof has buckles at the bottom to make sure you can release the bottom part, the Inatec has lobster swivel clasps. Both work, it is just what you’d prefer.Extra straps to carry the bag and/or shoulder strapKaka has an extra strap to carry the bag as a shoulderbag. There are also three handles on the bag available when the shoulder (backpack) straps are put away. The Kaka has two handles at the front to carry (or stow away in upper compartment) and there is a big handle at the side.Mogplof and Inatec both have a handle at the top and a handle at the side.Something weird at the Inatec is that when you carry the backpack the side handle is on the left side. Since most righties take of their left shoulder first then swing the bag to the right, that handle is very hard to reach in one movement.Main compartmentMogplof has a main compartment of about 28 liters but can expand so the whole bag is about 40 liters.Inatec has a capacity of 40 liters andKaka that I compared is 35 liter. The Inatec definitely looks much larger when filled with my contents. The same contents fit in the expanded Mogplof but the bag is a little wider and a little less tall, so it doesn’t look that big. The Kaka also holds all my contents and still looks pretty small in size.Main openingThe main compartment in the Mogplof has a mesh cover that can be zipped up for some more organization when opening the front flap. The flap opens width wise. This compartment houses the extensions zipper, so that is where the extra 2.5 inches of storage comes and goes.Inatec has the main compartment at the same place but the flap opens lengthwise and there is no mesh cover to contain the contents when opening the zipper. The main compartment in the Kaka bag opens from the tall top but zips down about 3/4 of the way. So it will not open flat but maybe when using packing cubes that is not a big issue.Laptop compartmentThe laptop compartment in the Inatec is only opening 1/3 of the height of the bag. It will fit a laptop and potentially an iPad but it doesn’t fold all the way open for a tsa run through like the Mogplof does. The Mogplof will also easily accommodate a laptop and an iPad - and like I said before - it will fold all the way open for easy tsa scanning.Kaka has a laptop compartment in the main compartment and in a front zipper compartment (15” laptop). So at the tsa checkpoint you either open the main compartment or the front compartment. Both will not be super fast, not like the Mogplof or Inatec.(I can fit my 15” laptop and ipad 12” in the front compartment so I would only have to open that front compartment. )Rain coverInatec providers a rain cover but for the Mogplof the description says the bag is water resistant and there is not rain cover. The Kaka provides a rain cover but only when you carry it as a backpack, not as shoulderbag.Front zipper pouchesThe differences at the front are just the differences.Inatec has two horizontal zippers that divide the space equally.Mogplof has a horizontal zipper at the bottom half and a vertical zipper at the top half. The vertical zipper is not reachable when you wear the backpack but if you unload the backpack on your right and set it down you can instantly reach in with your right hand.Kaka has a bigger front compartment where the zipper is hidden somewhat between a top section. There is also a top velvet compartment for phone or something. The compression straps on the Inatec have a little elastic black container band to keep the end of the strap together. The Mogplof and Kaka don’t have that but don’t know if that is a big deal breaker.Pro Inateclonger shoulder straps at the frontLike the zipper design frontLike the back - padded and easy to put straps awayShoulder straps connect with lobster claspmain compartment folds open all the wayCon Inatectaller on my back (and I am 5’8”)Always 40 liter - only compression straps make is a little smallerlittle opening for laptopdon't like that the main compartment folds open length wisePro Mogplofexpandable, so smaller is also possiblebig opening laptop - easy for tsaextra inside mesh cover for main compartmentmain compartment folds open flat sidewaysI like the size: wider and shorter on my backAdjustable sternum on sliderCon Mogplofshorter shoulder straps - rubs between body and armsshoulder straps connect with bucklesPro Kakastraps everywhere to pull and tug and lift the bagshoulder strap configurationhip straplooks smaller than other two - holds same itemsCon Kakaif you don't like the more technical look, this bag is not for yousternum strap not usable at all for busty ladyhalf opening at top to put your items in, so packing cubes are a mustI hope this helps.I choose the Kaka due to smaller appearances and shoulder strap configuration.

Fantastic!
This bag was great to use for our trip. When we got back home we’re decided to use it as a go bag for disaster preparedness. The size is perfect for travel both to get through check in quickly but also for backpacking. It looks great, feels great and travels great. I was able to fit enough clothes and items for about a weeks trip. I was concerned about theft but with a luggage zipper lock I felt safe. Plus I didn’t put anything of value in the front pocket. Over all the size was great, decently comfortable to carry as a backpack and the ease of use of not bothersome.
