Love these wings hurry entertaining to wear it looks so cool it's very metal I'm going to be wearing it with my bang when we play out I'll be taking some pictures I recommend

Mechanically moves well, but the string breaks extremely easily and its loud. I would also not recommend wearing it without a layer underneath as it does pinch skin! I am a 5’3 woman and they looked like a great size on me! The wing fabric doesn’t look that good. The wings are a bit uneven weight.

These wings are great. When folded they’re pretty unobtrusive, and when flared they’re spectacular. I’m 6’ and wear a 48” jacket and they still look impressive on me.They don’t feel super sturdy, as other reviewers have noted, but I personally didn’t have an issue. If you’re concerned about that, it would be pretty trivial to replace the screws with better ones from the hardware store and replace the strings with thin cables, would be like $5 and 30 minutes of work.The only downside to these is the size of the straps that hold them on. The wings are sized for an adult, but the straps seem child sized. I managed to squeeze them over my arms, but it was a two person effort. This would be easy to fix by getting some cheap nylon strap and making longer straps.

The media could not be loaded. I used these wings as a base for my Mardi Gras Dragon costume. I love that when folded they don't take up much room, which was necessary to get through the dense crowds of the French Quarter.The fabric that comes on these wings is cheap and only printed on one side, so I found some black holographic scaley fabric and sewed a panel on each side of the wings. Next I wanted to cover the exposed plastic so I took leather from an old couch, painted it, and glued it into the panel making scales. Finally I wanted to address the shoulder straps. They were really tight and not comfortable enough to wear all day, so I cut them off and fed the straps of a leather harness through instead- it worked perfectly!With the extra weight of my customizations the wings couldn't open all the way but that's okay, and the string came off the rings you pull a few times but a quick box knot fixed it.It held up and was comfortable to wear all Mardi Gras day even though people kept running into them.Highly recommend using these as a frame for a costume. It's lightweight and a lot came be done with them.

I lost count of how many inquiries I received about where to get these wings!The pulley system is incredibly user-friendly, and what's truly remarkable is how they move so smoothly without anyone noticing me pulling on the strings. The effect was mesmerizing, adding a magical touch to my costume.In terms of durability, these wings exceeded my expectations. They endured the entire Halloween night without a hitch. The only minor downside was that the elastic straps that go over the shoulders felt a tad tight on me, and I have a medium build. Nevertheless, this was a small inconvenience compared to the sheer delight and attention these wings brought to my dragon costume.Overall, these Mechanical Wings are a fantastic accessory, and I highly recommend them for adding that extra wow factor to your costume. They truly made my Halloween unforgettable.

Partner wore these with an old yoshi costume to become a dragon for his son’s wizard costume. The kids LOVED that the wings could move and the pulley system was easily hidden inside the Yoshi costume. Arms were a little tight but could stretch them out.

They look great, but I lost the nut/bolt that holds it together in a short time. I got to open the wi ngs a few times, and that was about it. It was a tight fit, but they stayed put for sure.
