I make a smoothie EVERY DAY and this blender is better than my Ninja. Blends beautifully with so much power. It doesn’t leak, the cap is so easy to put on and off as it allows you to unscrew the inner part first to release suction then it comes off easily! I even leave it out on my counter because it’s so cute!

I ordered this product and it stopped working a few months later. The company replaced it free of charge but now the base and top won't screw together properly and that in turn means the product doesn't work, again. Do not buy this item.

Very powerful !!!

This blender is design for people that leave the appliances on the countertop or don't have the storage space to hide them. So this was designed to be displayable but at the cost of functionality. The base on this unit is only slightly smaller than my full sized blender (which does dough, single, and large blending) but this unit is limited to single serve blending. I think this unit has more than enough power to run bigger blends its just not designed for it. I can say this machine is powerful and much quieter than I am used to, but I have a place to store my blender, so it misses the mark for me by not allowing a larger blender to be attached. While my other blend is loud and not nearly as appealing to look it, it has more function, for a similar price, so while this is an amazing one person blend, the fact it is a one person blender holds it back for me from being 5 stars. Maybe the company can design a larger container to be attached to this (the base seems to have more than enough power) down the road to bridge function and design, but for now it's 3.5 stars for me, just not big enough for a family.

I have been using a popular brand of smoothie blender the few years without issues but decided to try a more premium model. This blender from Our Place is higher powered at 1000 Watts and has a more compact and nicer looking design. This blender only comes with 1 cup with lids so you may need to purchase addition cups or accessories depending on your own needs. Compare to my old blender, this one makes smoothies slightly smoother and quicker all the while being quieter too. This blender has a unique interlocking design that is a bit of a pain in my opinion. You are required to twist the jar CW to lock and CCW to unlock which takes more time as well as being less secure when unlocking. Since the CCW action to unlock may also loosen the blade to the jar. This may cause leaks and a mess. The current price of $170 is about double of my old one so I would only recommend this blender if you really like the look or if you catch a big sale.
