Very good radio
I personally liked this radio enough to by another one for my other truck. The UI is very clean and nice to navigate plenty on adjustments and the able for attachments like subs and back up camera are very nice and work flawlessly. The wireless android auto/apple car play is also a great feature.

Exactly what I was looking for.
This thing is really great! I wanted something simple yet modern. And this head unit fit the bill perfectly. It’s Apple CarPlay, and entirely wireless. When you get in the car and turn it on it hooks up and starts playing your music. The antenna that it comes with makes the GPS super accurate. And the microphone works really well. It has three sets of RCA’s out. And my amplifier accepts three sets. I have it paired up to five channel 1800 W JBL amp. The two work really well together it’s nice and loud and sounds great.! I like the buttons on the bottom row because they’re easy to rest your fingers and push. The screen is a little slow to respond but overall this thing is really nice!

Great sound
Great stereo, completely fixed the ground noise i had with a cheap chinese brand (internal issue with that one). Only gripe about this is the menu options and settings are not always available for the correct things. If you want bluetooth options, you have to have a bluetooth device connected, if you want android options, gotta have that connected. Also it defaults to radio for audio and there's no way to stop that. You can turn on auto connect for android auto and bluetooth and all of that, but then it reconnects pretty much every 10s - known issue with samsung phones (s25 ultra). and it makes a beep every time it does, which cannot be turned off. If you have issues with android auto reconnecting - turn off "wifi scan throttling" in developer options on the phone, and auto-connect in android options on the stereo. Once those are set, it's solid. I do wish it would connect via USB for android auto and allowed you to disable wireless android auto completely as it is very frustrating until you get it working.

Maybe next time
It works, and it sounds decent, but anyone buying this because it says JBL be forewarned. This is their first carplay head unit. You’re better off with the other big names if you’re buying simply off of name recognition. I would’ve chose a different brand if I wasn’t so cheap.

Be careful with vehicle match and functions
So the radio on my vehicle went…it’s an older vehicle (2012)that came with a JBL system front to back…I was looking at this radio as a replacement, says it fits my vehicle (which it does) but the problem is they don’t have harnesses to match said vehicle for other accessories that are in and already wired to the original JBL system from factory. I, well, the installer called them (JBL)and was assured there would be no problem installing it as it come out of the box, with one adapter (steering wheel controls) well, it’s a lie Here is where the problem comes in they and or any other companies don’t make the necessary adapters for the accessories that were hooked up to the original JBL system, and, because the vehicle is now older those aftermarket companies won’t be making said adapters anymore. So now, I’m forced it I still want this accessory used I actually have to change it so it matches an adapter that will match the JBL 700 inputs…this $329 radios now so to adapters, accessory changes just went up to $729… It would’ve been cheaper and easier to just find one used through eBay or a junk yard, after all, I was only changing it cause it went out, I don’t care about the additional BS it comes with. Hopefully these stars don’t go down once I use it. Follow up: (remember this is a problem with the radio not the seller) So it got worse, I had to pay to remove into and purchase a different brand and have t installed (seller was kind enough to pay return shipping) 1. The radio does not come with instruction/instruction manual(s) when you do find operating instructions (online) it’s only basic..setup/quick guide not user instructions does not explain functions properly for use 2. The radio would not automatically connect to car play when entering the vehicle had to constantly go into settings and “reprogram” 3. External microphone was horrible people on the other line of the call said it cuts in and out and causes and echo on their end…even tried to relocate the microphone 4. The SWC does not work, well, does not program properly and or work this is a hard one. To figure out the programming without instructions is a problem it’s all about trail and error, after numerous attempts we finally figured out the programming “pattern” once we did it still didn’t work according to the SWC in the vehicle, basically phone pick up and hang up worked the volume…the voice control muted the sound…etc this is after numerous tries to finally get the program pattern 5. It does not have a good mode function on this unit. So, if you’re listening to the radio…FM1 switch through the six programmed stations, get to the sixth if you want to get back to number 1 you need to go through all the options meaning, FM3, FM3, AM1, AM2, Bluetooth, etc…to get back to FM1 and the number 1 station 6. There is no way to control volume on car play/music separate from guidance and other features. When I’m on car play or Bluetooth the phone works volume as does unit, but, there is no way to keep…(ex) guidance at one level and music at another 7. There were times couldn’t get a connection, mode, functions to change and had to literally shut down radio wait and restart it, than, reconnect everything again These were only some of the issues it could’ve been a defective unit or it could’ve been just “JBL” (not made by JBL) loss of quality who knows but like I said earlier it was a problem from install to get proper adapters, factory items and such to work. After all this… purchasing, adapters, purchasing new items having to remove factory ones, installing, removing into, purchasing different brand, reinstalling (new brand works so much better easier and properly) this 325$ until cost me 1000$ in money and even more in time

Buy it
Oh yeah it’s the real deal, grab it while you can I’m telling ya. A little boring are the graphics unless you have CarPlay or the android version in which case it comes alive with vibrant displays. Kicks bhut
