I think of Martha Stewart as the modern day, Julia Child. What would cooking and entertaining be without Martha Stewart. This book is beautiful. The photography is absolutely breathtaking. It is a wonderful guide for anybody who wishes to produce the perfect wedding. What would you expect from Miss Perfect herself. Like Martha Stewart, everybody should strive for perfection. If you do not achieve it, at least you can say you tried. This book also makes a fantastic, coffee table book.

I am trying to collect all the martha stewart books. This one is obviously alittle dated style wise but still pretty interesting and still relevant. Glad I bought it.

Duck her detractors! Martha delivers. If you love the sublime and beautiful buy this. Beauty elevates the soul and this my friend, is a beautiful book.

I got this book when I was planning my wedding and it provided a lot of ideas for me to glean from for my own wedding.

As 'The Best of MS Living Weddings' proved to be a winner for my family, 'Weddings' was ordered when another engagement was recently announced.Relatively few wedding books explore 'at home' celebrations, so I was glad to invest in a copy. I was prepared to overlook the c1980s details because I had every confidence that Ms Stewart's abilities as a caterer and competent authority on wedding celebrations would stand the test of time.I note that the appearance of this book is outdated (caused mostly by its now unfashionable pictorial format and photographs of ridiculous bridesmaid costumes, etc); nevertheless, the substance hasn't been at all compromised.'Weddings' contains the introductory information that I was looking for - sensible points worth mulling over. In particular, it offers a good introduction to the concept and process of planning.Unexpectedly, this book showed me that what appears now to be kitsch or faddish is a sobering reminder of the significance of keeping everything as simple and as timeless as possible.
