I wanted to leave this a 4 star but for the price point I really can't. Upon first opening, I was disappointed. I've never had a "bump" and it was super light and cheap feeling. Upon fitting and package contents I was a little happier. Lots of extras and rail adapters. Then I compared it to my real FAST(XL). Its WAY smaller outer dimensions but fits my big head well. On top of that, all the pads and extras work with the real one, that was a good suprise. It's worth the cost just in the pads alone! I got this as an MTB helmet that I could swap accessories between for night rides. The more I handled it and compared pics and features to high dollar bumps, I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I'm giving them 5 stars because of the whole package. I really don't have any complaints except it looks small on my fat head! If you want to put NVGs on it you will 100% need counterweight.

Tough to beat for the money
I’ve given this item 5 stars based on what it is: an inexpensive but serviceable bump helmet for less than $50. Is it the same quality and as durable as an Ops-Core or Team Wendy bump helmet? No, of course not. But those helmets have significantly larger price tags. Will this helmet protect your noggin during minor falls or against lightweight debris? Yes, it appears to offer the same level of protection as an off-the-shelf bike helmet from a big box store. The helmet is styled very well, obviously based on the Ops-Core FAST bump helmet system, and is comfortable enough. Multiple pads were included but upgrading to military surplus MICH pads seems like an affordable way to go for added comfort. All of the pads are attached via hook and loop so swapping them out is a breeze. As a bonus, the helmet arrived with a picatinny rail which was easily mounted. Overall, the helmet rail system seems sturdy enough for light to moderate use. The headband adjustment knob feels cheaply made but functions well. My head is 58 cm (22.83 in) and the helmet essentially fit correctly right out of the box.For the money, this helmet would be tough to beat in terms of styling and functionality. My review is based on my initial assessment during unboxing. I’ll add updates as I use the helmet.Update: I replaced the included helmet pads with military surplus MICH pads which greatly increased comfort. A $20 upgrade that’s worth every penny if you buy this helmet. The MICH pads can be added in using the pre-existing hook panels inside the helmet - no modifications necessary. I purchased the new pads as a set and they roughly correspond with the size and shape of the less comfortable factory pads.

Too small for adults
What is fast PJ? Fast pajamas? OK so this is the replacement for the first one I purchased and decided to return. The reason for the return is the brain bucket is way too small for me. I asked for a Large size. Rocket scientist that I am I looked inside the brain bucket and it is clearly marked M/L. I figure that means Medium/Large. The brain bucket is listed under "Helmets for Adults" on Amazon. At 69 years old so I hope I qualify as an adult for clothing purposes. My head circumference is 23 inches. Does that make me a fat head? Opinions may vary. By removing some pads, and opening/loosening the back strap all the way, I am just able to get the thing on but it sits somewhere north of my ears. I wear my hair short and there isn't enough left on top to provide any padding. You can shorten the chin strap but at maximum length I can just barely get it on my chin. Under my chin is more comfortable but not as safe. Hopefully I won't need to talk or sing. It seems sturdy enough for a bicycle helmet and with the strap fastened it isn't going to wobble around if I play paint ball or air soft with my grandson. It is well ventilated. Maybe wearing it for a while will loosen it up some but I am not really hopeful about that. Probably fine for teenagers and smaller adults. If you think you wear a large hat though, I would shop for something else. Of course maybe it will work with a shoe horn? I haven't tried that yet. Don't hold your breath for a report on that. I'll feel silly enough trying it.

I would highly this product recommend.
The helmet is very lightweight but durable. Feels like a typical bicycle helmet but with thicker padding inside. The rails are made with high quality plastic so you can slide accessories on and off without worrying about damaging them. It does come with a 2 different mounts so if your accessory isn't compatible with the railing system, then you can use those. The padding is stuck on with high quality velcro and can me added, removed, adjusted to fit your head or a headset. The outside velcro is nicely glued on and will not come off easily. It is fully adjustable so it will fit almost any head size unless it's slightly above average. The air holes are great and slightly angled so if a projectile does manage to go in, it will not hit your head direct. The balaclava (face mask thing shown in the picture) is a flexible nylon material and is included. The package comes with a sheet to show multiple different ways to wear it.I would highly this product recommend.

The helmet is pretty solid for the most part
The helmet is pretty solid for the most part, and will suffice for its intended use of looking pretty on an airsoft field, though it does have a few issues. First and foremost, the supplied pads are made of hard dense styrofoam with a thin layer of spongy rubber cushioning on them. Even with the additional ones included, I was unable to get a comfortable fit.The NVG mount is only held on with three small machine screws, The screw heads are not much bigger than the holes they go through on the helmet. Third and final let down was the 12-in-1 Headwear; in all the color option pictures there is a matching colored neck garter. My Tan helmet came with an orange one. In the end though, I still feel like it's a good product, and with a few tweaks and modifications, I expect this helmet to last quite a while.

Good value
It's no Team Wendy, but what do you expect for the money? It IS a little tight on the head...more so snug. The ratchet tightening system is poor, but does the trick. You can wear ear protection under the helmet or buy an adapter to secure to the outside. It will work to protect your head in basic search and rescue, paintball and zombie apocalypse.

Definately a CHILD SIZED Model
The Item is designed to be a replica but doesn't match the basic elements of the FAST helmet. It's too small for most heads and accessories meaning rail mounted equipment won't fit properly and neither will Covers. They need to correct the description. This is not a full-sized replica or helmet.
