Good product
Used inside a 3m respirator. I had to use a portable EQ to pull out the boomy sound-not fault of the unit.

Works as advertised
I've used this system now on my Canon camcorder to record my lectures. I've gone as long as 3 hours and the camcorder / remote at 25 ft, and it works just fine. I especially like that it's USB powered, which gives the option of carrying a smart phone charge battery along to guarantee it working longer. I've only had this unit for a few months and so I can't comment on how long before the batteries don't take re-charging. But unlike an earlier 9v system I bought, the sound quality has no interference, it's lightweight, and suits my lecturing needs just great.

First One Broke, Second One Not Holding Charge
I saw this on another website and decided to get it from Amazon. The first one had an issue with the volume down button. After a whole day of wearing it, everything was fine. The transmitter had nothing wrong with it. Everything that was wrong, happened with the receiver. The charge was lasting a very long time on both units, the range was good enough for what I'm doing, which was around 20-30 feet line of site. The audio sounds good, not great but good. I left the transmitter on my belt while walking around doing little things around the house. This is more or less so I could get a feel for how it would annoy me on my belt. It didn't due to the small footprint. I went to take it off and noticed the Volume down button had broke. I was able to raise the volume but could not lower it. When I would shake it, I could hear something inside the receiver rattling around. I decided to exchange it for another one. The second unit transmitter is showing signs of not holding a good charge. I'm going to give it a couple of charges but I have a feeling that I'll be looking for a different unit, which is disappointing. For the price, the mic actually sounds fairly decent. Its not tinny but its not bassy. The lav mic cable is long enough to hang the transmitter on your belt or in your pocket. Both charge via Micro USB and have on/off switches. They included a belt clip for the transmitter, no mounting system for the receiver other than plugging it in, 1/4" to 1/8" adapter, 1/8" pigtails that can adapts to android, apple and a regular extension for use on a camera or mixer and a dual Micro USB charge cable. You can charge both units with 1 cable. The volume (gain) switch on the transmitter can easily be pressed accidentally and there is no way to lock it. Pressing (-) multiple times results to Mute, effectively. Having a cold shoe clip would be nice so its not dangling off the side of my camera. In closing, I think there is room for improvement and quality control. Unfortunately, I don't want to worry about them holding charge and if recording for an hour will have 20 mins of audio. If the second unit magically starts holding its charge and performs better, I will revisit this review and update it. If not, consider this my final verdict and the unit is being returned.

Buyer beware
Buyer beware. If you’re not 100% sure this is a solution for you, don’t buy it. They charge a 20% restocking fee. Nowhere on the product page that I see where they listed this penalty for a return.

Using it as a Megaphone Microphone with free app + Bluetooth Speaker - works great!
I wasn't sure if this did what I was looking for - which was a microphone to connect my phone to a bluetooth speaker and project into a room during small networking meetings. Good news - it does - if you use a Microphone Megaphone app (which you can find for free). So I'm super excited to try this at the next meeting.- The instructions are not very helpful, but there is a video called "Galaxy Trek Compact Portable Wireless Microphone System" by the manufacturer (and which they should put here in the listing, but you can Google it or find it on the well known video social media platform). This video is very basic but at least goes over what you received in the box and will be great if it's your first time ever using a microphone. After charging, connecting part to my lapel and the other part to the phone, I tried just recording a video by pressing record on my phone and filming the cat while talking. This makes your audio go into the phone and should be clearer than if you had not uses a microphone. (Make sure the mic faces outward and doesn't rub against clothing or skin). Since I'm not a super video expert yet, this is enough improvement for me and I can't offer more ideas on sound quality. Happy with what I got!But what I really wanted, as mentioned, was projecting in a room or small groups. I was hoping I could have phone in my pocket or on a table, connect a blue tooth speaker to my phone - talk and I would be amplified. Good news is yes, this will work. You will need a microphone app to make this work. I found another video called "Turn your Phone into a Megaphone or Microphone for the Classroom or Personal Use" which discussed a free app. I followed those steps - which was basically just turning the app on and raising the volume inside the app. Everything else was connected just like before when using my phone as a video camera. But when I speak, I can hear it all come thru the blue tooth speaker. (They should really include this concept in the instructions. I can think of sooo many uses - business meetings, classrooms, coaches, etc. where people might not need the top-of-the-line expensive microphones and would communicate much better with this.- Highly recommend. Fun for kids through adults. Nice unusual gift.

Good for my kids' at home movies
This works great for simple videos. It's basic and lightweight. It has good sound recording quality and has a few basic settings that allow you adjust the volume intake. Overall, it works well and is good for basic, not super high quality movies.
