One of the best laptops out there
This is an amazing machine. I had some doubts about buying a "renewed" item, which is a fancy word for refurbished I guess, but no regrets whatsoever. The machine is no different in its presentation from new and it came with all accessories and documentation in an original box.The price (less <$1200) is simply unbeatable for an i7 laptop with a high res screen. A lot of people compare this machine to the Macbook pro and yes, it is as well built and finished with a lot of attention to little details. It just feels very sturdy and premium. The keyboard is very nice, the screen is wonderful and the performance is definitively there. About the screen, the 3:2 ratio is something that really makes a lot of sense for laptops this size and I wonder why all manufacturers are not using it. WeThe machine needed a lot of software updating when I first turned it on, including upgrading it to the latest windows 10 build. It also needed some updating through its own update software called PC Manager. The English in that software is a little weird but it the important thing is that it works fine for updating drivers and software. After updating, everything ran very smoothly. The machine does not get hot or use its fan under light/moderate. Under more heavy use, the fan does turn on but it's very quiet. To sum things up, I am super pleased with this purchase and there is nothing that can even come close at this price point.

Beautiful laptop, great battery life, thoughtful pop-up camera
Great premium feel to this laptop, easily the nicest I have owned. It's light enough to carry with one hand, small enough to feel very portable, but a solid screen resolution as well. This thing handles all of the productivity applications I throw at it, and some mild Everquesting when I have some downtime. It's gonna be hard to find a competing laptop with a screen this nice and internals this good. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an Ultrabook-style PC.

Very high quality laptop - would recommend
Great laptop. Fast, lasts about 9-10 hours with battery saver and light to moderate use (doesn't seem that spectacular until you realize the high resolution and the fact it's a touch screen). Charges in about an 1 hour and 40 minutes. The screen is incredible, but it is a bit reflective which takes away from it. The keys are a tad shallow, but you hardly realize it after a while, this is coming from someone who types a lot. Overall would highly recommend (with the exception to heavy webcam users because while I hardly use it, the location is horrible). I've received a handful of compliments on it from Mac users (I think personally think this laptop is better).Note: I got it refurbished, but the laptop itself was almost like new. No scratches and barely any full battery charging cycles. I think it might have been an open box item.

It’s trash
I bought this laptop a year ago and I’m already shopping for a new one.Pros:- The screen is great- It’s fast- it’s extremely light-it can technically handle most any software.Cons:- there is no heat management whatsoever and it gets painful-to-touch hot- It crashes constantly, and usually with different error codes so it’s not an easy fix- the NIC card is garbage and will arbitrarily shut down either every few hours or every 30 seconds. I’ve been blaming the heat problem for this but lately i’ve been using the laptop on top if an ice pack and it’s still an issue- For some stupid reason instead of installing one 500gb SSD they put in 2 250s one of which is essentially useless. It’s inefficient and needlessly confusing- there are 2 USB ports and that’s it for inputs.-did I mention that it crashes CONSTANTLY.

Refub with scruthes but all new other stuff
It definitly used and refurbished. Im a little dissapointed with some little scratches on top cover on sides... But no other signs of use, 1 circle batttery charge, clear keyboard and screen, new charger and dock, only 1h of working time SSD count... Clear bottom screws. No sign of disassembly... But no cover on screen out from the box... It definitly like new, but with little scratches. Take a stress test whith no problems.Amazing laptop, good price. Recommend.

Bang for the Specs! But don't be lazy!
I needed a new laptop that would last me 4 more years from my previous Surface Product. This has the best specs for the price and the screen is to die for. However, the computer over heated when I initially started using it and it freaked me out ; especially when I typically only use this computer for writing my notes and Educational purposes.Once I updated everything through the built in PC manager ( I know it took a while), I have had no Problems with cooling, no stuttering etc.The Speed is phenomenal,The screen is amazing,Touchscreen is the usual for most computers,Touch pad has a slight rattle, but barely noticeableand last but not least the Sound System is amazing! The only drawbacks is: the camera quality is garbage and especially the way it makes you look under your nose- However the hidden button is is much appreciatedThe main reason I wanted this laptop was due to the Battery life , and I was able to charge it through USB-C with my External Battery pack (Like a phone) .The 2 USB-C ports are very nice to have (1 is Thunderbolt 2 way), and One USB-ABattery Life lasts me around 8 hours usuallyThe Extra accessory which uses USB-C gives another USBc port, HDMI, DVI, and USB.Honestly there is nothing better in the market other than this laptop at the time. The only drawback is that Company and the types of practice it conducts.Overall, I would recommend this Laptop to anyone who can afford it.
