12 oz of water. If your trying to improve bowels, this is what I use: 70 grams of Paleo Fiber + 70 grams of (Metagenics) Ultra GI Replenish-Vanilla mix with 12 oz. of water All blended in a juice blender & take it just before you go to bed. You will notice a big difference inside 30 days.

These properties of fiber include dispersibility in water, bulk, viscosity, adsorption and binding of compounds and fermentability. Then you have substances such as fructans which have many similarities. As does oligofructose. Then you have retrograde starches with groupings 1 thru 4. So your stated as fact suggestion of only 4 fibers is unsupported.
