Incredibly happy!!
I was horrified when these plants arrived, mostly unprotected, in a Manila envelope. They were all around 4” high and all but one looked healthy. I think one was damaged in shipping - it appeared crushed.I immediately planted them in 4” pots. It took about 3-4 months before they needed repotted and currently (7 months later) they’re in their 3rd pots. The “smooshed” plant did die, but the other three are now 5-6’ tall! They’re BEAUTIFUL! They remain disease and pest free (I have them on our patio) and they’re thriving.I’ve lived in SC now for 4 years (zone 8a), and these banana plants are the only outdoor plants I’ve managed to keep alive. There are no shady spots in my yard and we get months of scorching sun.The plants I received were healthy, hearty, and have done wonderfully - despite the heat. I don’t even mind that one died because I also bought a 4-pk of ice cream bananas and one of those plants ALREADY produced a sword sucker I was able to remove and repot. I bought 8 plants and, 7 months later, I’ve still got 8 plants. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.Should I ever get bananas I’ll update my review.

Pleasantly surprised
Checking tracking and it said has been delivered. I did not see a package so I tracked the delivery and it said in the mailbox. How do you put four plants in pots in a mailbox? Answer very neatly in a little box. They look fresh and are still in moist soil in tiny pots. They were transplanted immediately and if they are the variety I wanted they look like they will be healthy plants. They have my approval!

3 out of 4 arrived looking decent
I can't complain about the packing. I think the seller did right, but the postal service crushed one end of the box & one of the plants was broken near the base. Two plants were beautiful, one was pretty good, and we prayed the 4th would make it. It didn't. They come in TINY starting pods, so we immediately replanted into larger pots. We've been keeping them moist (not wet), in order to not let them dry out. Taking them outside during the warmer sunny days & then back into climate control for the cool evenings. Figured we'd keep this up until we were sure there'd be no more cold snaps. Now, I am concerned because they are not thriving at all. We have other bananas and they do AMAZING where we are along the Gulf Coast (Texas). They love the soil/climate, everything. Only hard freezes kill them back & then they return in the late winter/early spring. This is the first time we've bought this variety and we've only had them just over a week now. I'll need more time to update this review and figure out if it's us or the plants.

Great seller, must read details in review
The plants arrived and were in good shape. These were smaller than other banana plants that I've bought from this seller but they are still growing! People need to understand, any plant that is wrapped up and shipped in a box is not going to arrive in 'thriving' condition.....it's stressed and in marginal condition. You need to transplant immediately and NOT over-water it or over-fertilize it. Because the root system isn't entirely established and has likely been disturbed while transplanting, the uptake of water and nutrients will be compromised as the plant goes from distressed towards healthy. If someone knows what they are doing and uses common sense, these plants can easily be transplanted into larger containers and successfully grown. Do not place in direct and intense sun too quickly, do not be afraid to cut-off leaves that are in poor shape or wilting, it'll help stimulate growth. All my plants have been transplanted and are showing signs of growth.....from this point they'll just continue to grow! If you see poor reviews, mostly likely the people didn't know what they were doing!
