This is is a blessing in disguise!
It was so easy to assemble that my two year old grandson helped me put it together. Just insert one pole in the other, line up the holes for the screws and tighten them up.Although I have to admit it was a little awkward at first, but I absolutely LOVE this thing!!! I think it was just because it was something new and different. I wish I found this a couple of years ago when I had surgery on my shoulder. In the past couple of years since surgery I haven't been able to turn my arm in certain directions or reach behind my head to brush my hair and hold my hairdryer at the same time. Now I have this wonderful contraption to hold my hairdryer while I style my hair and blow dry. It doesn’t take as long to do my hair and I can aim in any direction I need. It has a nice heavy base so I can sit in on my counter and not worry about it falling off. Plus, I can adjust it to just the right height and angle and it stays balanced. I can also sit on the floor and turn upside down to get the underside of my hair.If for some odd reason your hairdryer doesn’t seem to be compatible with this thing, buy another hairdryer! This thing has been a blessing!

Not so thrilled
I bought because I had broken shoulder and thought would help. First problem, extremely difficult to put together. Not because it is complicated, just not well made. Second, could never get it to hold my hair dryer. Might work for some, but not mine. Kept trying to tip over from weight of dryer. Would have given 0 stars if that were possible. I didn't return because of shipping.Great idea! But the idea needs some tweaking.

Easy to assemble but not very stable. For the price ok.
Used this to hold my hair dryer when I could only use one hand. Tip: use some plastic ties to hold it into place and don't move it around. For the price it worked well enough. I used one similar to this when I had shoulder surgery.

Frees up your hands
This is my 3rd stand. The clip holding hairdryer in place eventually breaks from opening & closing around your hairdryer. The velcro strap is supposed to help hold it in place but it never worked that well for me so I quit trying to strap it in. I actually don’t have it in the stand that long for only need it for the back of my head. This stand was most helpful when I fractured my Right wrist and I couldn’t hold hair dryer comfortably for a couple of months. With this I strapped the dryer in and left in in the stand for the entire time.Nice stand thats adjustable in height and I wouldn’t be without it.

Would have been GREAT if it didn't break :(
The first time I used this product I was completely in love, it saved me SO MUCH time. Unfortunately, when i went to use it the second time it seems the little plastic mechanism that tightens the extending arm has broken :( I think that I'll still be able to use the product with a rubber band to hold the height where i want, but I'm a little concerned the snaking arm at the top is already getting "saggy" as well and slowly dropping down after I set it where I want. The product was pretty cheap and I probably got my dollar value out of it. I think overall it was worth the try and I'd do it again.

Any one know of a better one?
The height adjustment broke after only a couple months of very light use. I had to tape it in place. My first one lasted years, the second broke in the same way but after quite a while of use, and then this one. Any one know of a better one?? Not happy with these.

Great for grandma
I bought this for my grandma so she could round brush her hair at home (I own a salon) instead of always waiting on me. She loves it, she's 84 and has a short layers Bob. The stand goes on her bathroom counter and she is able to just use the bus and not worry about trying to maintain strength to hold her blowdryer. This is also great for people with arthritis or carpel tunnel, at any age. The base is weighted and the stand really just hope for the nozzle and uses Velcro to hold the dryer in place. I was unsure of how well it would work, but so far so good. Worth the money.

Holds hairdryer perfectly to avoid fatigue
This purchase was a replacement for the same item I purchased many years ago after a shoulder surgery. This holds the hair dryer so my arm isn’t fatigued and it can be easily adjusted for different angles. I finally had to replace it because when I tried to remove the old hair dryer for a new one, the clip cracked. After so many years I wasn’t surprised. The clip couldn’t be replaced, but if I get another 10 years of use out of this, it was worth it to get the same one again. Assembly was easy.
