These drywall picture hanging hooks were a fantastic find on here. I used them throughout my new home & the installation was incredibly simple with no fuss or damage to the walls. Every painting and piece of art is still hanging perfectly and feels secure. What impressed me most is how clean they stay. When I remove items to dust or rearrange, there are no signs of rust, bending, or wear. For convenience and durability, this set earns a solid 5 out of 5.

I, like I’m sure many others, was incredibly wary of these hanger things. I live in an apartment, and my mirror is incredibly old, the frame is made of solid wood and upon inspection, the mirror is about 1/4 inch thick so I guesstimate it’s about 40-45lbs. I purchased the hangers that were rated for 40 lbs and needed 2 of them to hang up the mirror. At the time of writing this it has been about 20 mins and it’s still up and hasn’t budged. If anything changes, trust, my review will reflect that. Pushing the hangers into the wall was very easy to do when you do it correctly. Two hands, push in on both sides, mild force. I didn’t have any issues with the pegs not sticking out far enough for my mirror, so definitely read the measurements if you’re concerned. Just by myself, I wasn’t able to get the hanger 100% flush to the wall but considering the curve of the spikes that go into the wall, I think that’s the point (see photo for reference). But overall, I’m happy with them and hope my mirror stays up for a long time. If my mirror makes it over night, I’ll be hanging everything even slightly heavy with these and I’d consider these to be worth every penny. Physics wins again!

The 90° nail prongs are not at 90° and would give you the impression that they could work their way out of the wall. I bent mine slightly more than 90°. They work well.

I’m in love with these hanging hooks!! I just hung a 30 pound mirror and these were easy to install. Where have they been all my life!

Not really useful. Need to use hammer to nailed into wall. It is ok for hanging picture and security in the past months, but it is damaging the wall already during installation. If you do not need to hang a very heavy frame on wall, not worth to make it damaged by this.
