Worked well
Flew on 7 different planes on our trip across Europe. This pillow attached to the headrest of the plane seats and worked very well on all 7 flights. Kept our heads from falling sideways or forward. We purchased a total of 4 pillows for each family member for our trip. Sadly, one of the straps broke on one of the cases while traveling and unfortunately lost one of our pillows but the pillows did work very well on all flights.

Ability to store it compactly within an included nylon bag
I really like this travel pillow. It is made with soft material and is constructed more compactly more than the average travel pillows. The ability to pack it up into a small nylon bag is a definite plus. And the Amazon price is much, much better than grabbing it at the airport!

Great pillow - broken carrier
Just used this pillow for a couple very long international flights. I did not try and connect it to my seat, I don’t even think that would work. It did however really help support my head so that I could sleep. I thought it might get too hot, but I was fine (I did have air pointed directly at my face for the entire flight). Overall, very happy with my purchase. The carrying case is cheap. The strap for attaching it to my carryon broke before my first flight. I’m lucky some person in the airport noticed and stopped me or I would have lost my pillow. It seems like it was just poorly sewed on - I will try to fix it myself.

Must have for long flights
Fabulous asset to sleep in the middle seat! Used this on a flight from DC to Istanbul and the design made all the difference. I strapped it onto the headrest and felt supported and able to sleep well. I am short, so I wish it could've sat a little lower, but it reminded me to have good posture during the flight. I wore it even to watch movies to keep me snuggled in and comfortable. Carrying case was wonderful and easy to clip on.

Doesn't provide forward/chin support, not great in other directions either
I really really wanted to like this pillow. I read through all of the review sites (Wirecutter, CNN, NYMag, WSJ, and more) in hopes of finding THE travel pillow for my upcoming 17 hour flight, and landed on the Cabeau S3 as an upgrade over the standard version. For a flight this long, I would have paid for any good travel pillow - maybe one day i'll be able to afford a lie flat seat ;) Until that day, I need a pillow that supports my neck, especially in the front because my head droops forward on plane seats. I'd even read through a bunch of Amazon reviews to make sure that this product would do just that, as it promised.Well, I received the product, followed all the instructions, and not only does it not support my head going forward, it doesn't provide support in ANY direction! I tightened the cinch to make the chin-side as tight as possible (as one of the updated reviews here suggested), and my chin just slips right through. Even when I attach the pillow to the seat, as suggested, my chin just slips right through and is not held up by the pillow.Ok maybe I'll just correct the way I sleep because all these reviews couldn't be wrong, right? I tried to lean sideways and backwards, and, unfortunately none of these sides provided support. The shape of the pillow (not a straight side edge) just makes my head collapse into the gap without holding it up.Anyway, onto the next. So far, I've found the bcozzy one to be the best, as you can form the shape to whichever side that needs more support -- including a tight wrap for the chin side, which successfully limited the head drooping.

Holds your head in place while you sleep
These Cabeau travel pillows are fantastic for long flights and train rides. The strap that holds it to the headrest keeps your head from dropping forward, which is HUGE. It rolls up smaller (you have to fight it a little, using the same skill set as rolling up a thick sleeping bag), so you don't have to lug around a full size neck pillow along with your luggage. The only slight drawback is that it feels a little binding around my neck, so I feel like I'm wearing a neck brace after a car accident. And I have a fairly long, not very thick neck. But it's not bad enough to keep me from falling asleep and my claustrophobic 6 foot 200+ lb husband doesn't complain when he uses it, so maybe it's just me, I don't know. Also, the magic strap that holds it to the headrest doesn't work with all headrests and then it just does what a regular neck pillow does. Same for if a short kid uses it and their head doesn't reach the height of the headrest.

Well-designed & Well-made
It would even better if the straps could be longer to wrap around the back of a recliner chair (which is what I currently use for sleeping).
