Wiccapedia Journal: A Book of Shadows (The Modern-Day Witch, 3)

The thing that first caught my eye was the beautiful cover! I absolutely love it and other than being a Journal it also serves as a beautiful altar piece. I was expecting a completely empty Journal, but I was pleasantly surprised that at the beginning, there is some basic information about herbs, crystals, moon phases and much more. I am relatively new to the practice and this is a perfect Journal for me to write down my favourite spells, recipes, and everything else I learn along my path. I highly recommend this to beginner witches who are still learning, but I reckon that it can be useful to seasoned practitioners as well. I'm very happy with my purchase!

This is not a book of shadows that’s written, it is a journal for recording your own spells and rituals that you’ve done. I have a BOS I made myself and an herbal grimoire that I write in, so this spell journal is perfect for my needs. I record every spell I’ve done along with the date and moon phase and day of the week, I write how I did the spell, and then I leave a small section on the bottom of the page for the results. I am very happy with this book as it looks lovely and feels very magical and the small reference guide at the beginning is helpful when you need a quick refresher on correspondences.

I love this journal, not only you can write in it to keep track of your shadow work, but it also gives you some tips at the beginning!

I was very surprised at how good the quality was, and how it has notes in the beginning of the book so you can look back at things without getting the two other books, but its still recommended. But, there is a list of herbs, candle colors, incense, and more! There is just enough room on a page to write your own spells, rituals, and daily thoughts! My friend and I will use this in our practice! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a touch of magick in their lives.

The first 29 pages of the Wiccapedia Journal are of info on things such as tools, symbols, candles, herbs, crystals, yule, moon phases, & magic to name a few. The other 227 pages are simply mainly blank besides one line for a date, moon phase, & 3 longer ones for the spell. There is more space on each page under the last 3 lines but I would not recommend this book to start understanding wicca unless u already maybe have other books on spells.

I love this book. Shawn and Leanna are the real deal. They explain everything in a way that makes it easy to understand and fun to read. They describe the tools you need for your own personal work. They talk about candles, spells, colors and crystals. Most importantly this is YOUR personal Book of Shadows (BOS). I highly recommend this book and all the others they have written. A must have on your bookshelf or personal library.

Great journal with lots of great info (reference material) in the front. Lots of writing space in the back.

I love all of the Wiccapedia books and reference them constantly. This Journal makes a wonderful Book of Shadows! There's all of the basic, essential information needed and then the rest of the book is yours...a beautiful Book of Shadows of your own. It's a treasure!!!

It's perfect for what's it's designed for. Very decorative and wonderful to own.
