I'm So Glad I chose this clipper over the Hugh list of possibilities!
I'm new to dog grooming, but I'm a "tool guy" and not afraid to spend money on the best tools I can find to make learning, and future use, an easy experience. Very Powerful, light, easy to handle, couldn't ask for anything better. We adopted a Labradoodle from a shelter and boy was I surprised to find that these dogs (any dog with "hair" that never stops growing, as opposed to "fur" that most dogs have) comes with a $10K Lifetime grooming cost. I do everything else around-the-house and garage, I'm gonna learn how to groom myself! ;)And this was a Great Choice for me, cuts the most dense areas, lots of power, lots of battery (I've clipped for an Hour and still has lots of battery left) You get what you pay for and there is So Much deceptive claims from Hundreds of clipper choices claiming that they will perform like a professional tool (a $35 clipper is a dull, gutless, toy despite the claims they all make). Cordless is Such a nice feature, I can cut her outside and not be encumbered with the weight & drag of a connected cord.Because I am not a professional, I did not recognize that there's a Blade Lock, and this is NOT made clear in the instructions, but be aware that there is a "bar" that has to be pushed-in on the hinge-side of the clipper blade to remove it (I broke mine by forcing it but found the lock replacement here for less than $5 to repair it with).I've clipped her 1/2dz times by now, I get better each time, she's looking pretty good now! (PetCo charges $15 to do "Feet-Face-Fanny", the hardest parts that I was letting them do for me, I'm now doing for myself :) )

A Clipper Well Worth It
As much as I don't mind using a Corded Clipper, it can feel pretty distracting to use when you need to rotate around a dog to get to certain parts of their body. As well as feeling like you're fighting the darn thing any time it feels like an inconvenience when you're moving around. This Cordless Clipper on the other hand does pretty well to get the job done. The weight when grasping it feels appropriate. And I'd say the battery life lasts a good while. Though, I will say it could vary on your speed for how long it takes to do a dog (and this depends on the size of said dog, as the bigger they are the longer they're bound to take in some cases). So far, it works wonders. And I feel like I get a dog done faster since there's no pesky cord getting in my way.

Very powerful
Powerful on 1 blade or lower keep turned down low or blade will heat up fast. This thing has power to spare cuts thru anything. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Been using BGR clipper for years. Batteries finally died. Andis is Quality.

Great clippers… when they work.
Update 8/26/23: The clippers will periodically shut off, turn on and off again, and won’t turn back on for days at a time. I’ve reached out to Andis about getting these repaired or replaced and have never heard back Do not recommend.I’ve only had these clippers for a few months, and they were absolutely great clippers for those few months. Unfortunately, they won’t even stay charged through a single dog anymore. My grooms are taking much longer than they need to because I have to keep taking breaks for them to charge. I’m really sad but I’m going to have to end up using these as a backup pair and getting something different as my main clippers.

Definitely worth the money
I've always used a corded oster 76 and wanted to upgrade to cordless and have never been happier that I made the switch. Saves me time on my cuts and has practically paid itself off already. Ive been using my osters blades on it, they fit, but are heavy. The andis blades fit nicer and are quieter, so I suggest making sure you buy the andis guards with ceramic blades to make this buy complete.

Completely surprised and enjoying the clipper.
It was between this and the Oster Octane. Went with the Supra ZR 2 because the price. I love the versatility of this clipper. It flat out cuts great. I fade my kids hair with these with no problems. Came from the BGRC. Used with the cord and without. The ZR2 has more power than the BGRC, and the battery is superior due to its lithium ion battery, as opposed to the BGRC's NiCad battery. My only complaint about the ZR2 is the front cover keeps popping off when i cut my own hair. Probably because the way I hold the clipper. I popped the cover off and placed a piece of double sided tape to hold the cover inplace and now it is perfect. No, I shouldn't have to so that. Yes, it is a design flaw, but now that the cover stays in place I absolutely enjoy using these things. The added bonus: quieter than the Octanes, battery indicator lets you know when you are getting close to needing a recharge. Also, the adjustable speed allows you to cutting different grades of hair with ease.I was skeptical at first, but this has grown on me

Worth the $$$
Might seem pricey compared to consumer-level clippers but these are totally worth it! Don’t waste your money on buying cheap clippers every couple of months or even every couple of years. I shave my head bald once a week and only need to charge once-a-month at the most. the convenience of cordless makes cutting my own hair a breeze. The power these clippers far exceed any consumer model. And they are quieter and smoother. I’ve tried outline clippers, t-blade clippers to get the closest trim to shaving. These clippers with a 00000 blade is the way to go!

Lasted 1 yr 1 month
I bought these on July 22, 2022 and mid August of 2023 clippers starred to malfunction. Went from being able to use for 3-4 hrs on one charge to maybe 30 mins but the charger light is green. I didn't leave clippers on charger over night, I always charge to full then put clippers away. Used 5 days a week on average 3.5 hrs everyday. Let's see if Andis does the right thing and replaces or fixes. Definitely by 2 yr extended warranty.
