HERBS & SEEDS Vitamin C Supplement with Zinc has an ingredients list that contains : Phythanphus Emblica fruit extract (Amla) (10% Tannins), Zinc (Zinc Sulphate), Zingiber (Ginger). The tablets are large but I didn’t have any trouble taking them. I did not experience any digestive problems or unwanted side effects from taking this supplement. The label was pretty worn looking when I received this vitamin C supplement but the seals were all intact. The vitamin C seems like a quality supplement and for the price a good value.

Amazon community guidelines for reviews tell me to focus on the product, not how it arrived so I will do my best to ignore the hard to read label that looks like it went through the wash. Added photos to show the product as I received it. That said - I do not see Vitamin C listed in the ingredients - see photo - and it looks like Amla, Zinc, ginger are the ingredients with good transparency on the binders and other additives used. Amla is an India gooseberry rich in vitamin C but there is no indication how much vitamin C is in the 1000 mg of extract - and no extract ratio. There is really no way to tell how much vitamin C is in this product based on the Amla extract because the amount can vary by batch and processing methods. If you are only concerned with the amount of Amla, this might work well for you. With Vitamin C listed in the largest font on the label, I kinda want to know how much is in two capsules. There is also good information about where this product is made (india) + contact info and it shows quality certifications. However when I tried to read the "more info code" on the label with my camera, nothing came up. It could be that the label was spot hard to read in general. There are a batch number and expiration date and these do align with the GMP certification on the label. There is no strong odor or taste with these medium sized tablets - see photo. The bottle does smell a bit like Amla. Note the brown tablets are not the same as the green capsules shown on the product description pictures at the time of this review. So if the vitamin C part isn't a big deal for you, this supplement might work out for you. Hope the photos and this review help you decide if this is the right product for you. Here's to your health!
